You can but to be safe dont get too close to the paint with the nozzle. I would not let the nozzle get within 2-"3" of the paint. Within 3" its insane how strong it is. Be careful not to let your feet or hands get that close to it either. One time I accidentally swiped aross my toes with the nozzle and it felt like it cut my toes off.

Im not sure about the brushess. I havent had a problem with it yet. I do have a friend that has the same model and his motor burned up and it was repaired under warranty
Im bet not making it to fit other brands accessories was done on purpose for several reasons. #1 being you are then required to buy Stihl brand accessories so they get more $$$. #2. They would not want to cover any warranty repairs to the pressure washer due to other brands faulty accessories.

It's a great machine for the money. As far as a pressure washing business, it will limit what jobs you will be able to do.

Bought it yesterday! It’s pretty dang good, it does an amazing job.
I bought this and I hate it. You cannot use it with any other brands accessories they used dumb thread sizes.
