Sir, I have cleared atleast 10 NISM and NCFM exams and let me inform you that currently NCFM exams have little value in the job market. The important exams are from NISM like the NISM VA - Mutual Fund, NISM VIII - Equity Derivatives, NISM XXI A - Portfolio Management. I have cleared these exams and also got a good job.

i think you made a mistake NISM is conducted by SEBI whereas NCFM is conducted by NSE

Yeah, this is need of the hour. Power BI and Tableau can be learnt free over youtube or paid via udemy/coursera. Nevertheless, SAP is not mostly taught as technical in depth over the counter.

Bro again incomplete knowledge yaar ..First of all NISM and NCFM are different . NiSM is mandatory exam for the person who want to start practice as a broker or person want to start Research Analyst practice or Investing Advisor practice .Ncfm is NSE exam which is just a courses , it is not falling under any act of SEBI regulations
Few mid tough courses in nism are investment advisor level 2 , Research analyst , Equity derivatives

@ 3:08 minute you have mentioned that NISM is conducted by SEBI and NCFM is conducted by NSE/BSE but you have written SEBI above NCFM and NSE/BSE above NISM which is a bit confusing. That is something that can be corrected.

Hi Ishaan, I will be applying in big-6 firms for CA articleship after december and I am not much interested in traditional fields like stat audit or indirect tax. My interest is more inclined towards M&A Tax and Valuation. So should I pursue NCFM Merger & acquisition module + Venture Capital & private equity module. Will it give me any edge in CV and also in terms of knowledge?
You can but honestly those are very theoretical courses. Go for IB and financial Modeling courses 💯

Google it search for finance courses which can land you good job do not go for attractive placement offers as some cources are 1lakh + while that course u can also do in 5-10k or even free in CZcams ,. Always try to upgrade skills rather than buying big courses for placements.
It is compulsory to get a bachelor degree for working in a financial sector if the person is having NCFM and NISM certificates

When it comes to the NISM exams you need to visit NISM portal and register, exam will be offline.
Equity Derivatives and similar many other courses are offered by both the institutes..
So, from which institute to pick which course? Kindly give some insights regarding this dilemma also ..

Buddy ,these certificates are only regulatory requirements..nothing else ,they don't update their syllabus if you really interested then go CFA FRM etc ...I have more than 12 nism ncfm certificates which I throw in dustbin ... Goodluck

Hi sir actually I'm planning for deferral from my nov 23 cfa l1 attempt so i just wanted to ask and need help related to the process and payments... like after paying $399 i don't need to pay again for registration right ? and i can choose any window between 12 months ? please help me with it sir 'ive no one to guide me....
Hey yes only the deferral fee needs to be paid. No registration fee again :)
And I also want to ask that I was registered for 15 November... and the deferral forms are still not showing up ... when will they release that . Or is it like as I failed my 1st attempt of cfa l1 and it's going to be my 2nd attempt I am still able to avail the paid deferral na ?
