One thing I like about your channel is that you straight up tell the honest truth accordingly to your insight. I'm not saying that you are never wrong, but I appreciate you giving a honest answer and not bluff your way through topics and not give a lot of smokescreen information (irrelevant and common bass knowledge).
I think a jerkbait in the winter with scent works well, baitfuel to me doesn't have any effects but the max scent baits are bang up good.
Fish Formula flat out works. I was catching 10 to 1 sauger and walleye with fish formula with 30 boats next to me. Jig and minnow combo. I agree with Randy when fishing slow baits.
Really good thoughts. Thanks randy
I've seen a huge difference when using Berkley scents or Pro Cure verses not using anything. I can fan cast an area, 8 - 10 casts and not get a bite. If I add the Pro Cure or Berkley scent, within the first or second casts in the same area I start to get bites. Even when panfishing, doing the same thing, fan cast an area with no scent and get nothing, tip the jig with a crappie nibble or apply some Procure and will get hit multiple times.
Thanks good video
Great advice and angle on the slow verse fast moving baits, although I do still dip my crank bait trailing hook into some die/scent. In my head at least it covers up my nasty smell (lol) and in fact does die the hook a custom color giving what I would think more visual action in the water.
Ive had zero luck with the baitfuel. The bang garlic is my go to snd use it on all of my soft plastics.
Like the fact that you helped out a fishing buddy.❤
I like Bang crawfish , I’ve seen it work and make a huge difference too
Agreed

Hi Randy, the makers of Bait Fuel say that a scent needs to be water soluble for the bass to smell it. Could please share your thoughts water soluble products.
Is it because oil-based scents or scents that contain oil would start breaking apart in the water?
Water and oil don’t mix?
Used it today, got more bites with the bait fuel. When I choose the worm I’m going to lock in my hand I drop a few drops in the bag. I’ve heard it can ruin certain types of baits so use caution. If it messes with the bait I will brush it on.
I'm a big fan of BANG garlic. I can't say that I feel it always help me catch more fish but it definitely makes them hold the bait a little longer.
I believe scent works more by taste makeing them hold on longer.
Scents cover up the smell of me.
My Is cigarette smoke
I throw alot of big worms the original powerboat worm always produces and alot of big fish
Randy, I grew up on the party boats in Atlantic, Highlands, fluke fishing, trying to win the pool with 70 people on the boat and Yep gulp juice out fishes live bait don’t tell anyone
I used to put garlic salt in my bags of plastic....dunno why I stopped 🤷♂️
I am 100% scents are working, but I have had bad experiences with bait fuel, and toss all for bottles and back to my bang
Ever try Dr Scent?
My old local tournament buddy used Bang ,My brother used w40 maybe 50 years ago.Gulp works great on flounder and croaker but not rockfish .A lot more then yes it does no it dont
Most scents work but I can’t determine if baitfuel really does anything. Powerbait, gulp, coffee, garlic, and anything in between work from my experience
I like using the Pro-Cure Crawfish, Shrimp or Menhadden are personal preference's even over the the Bait Fuel I have thought about mix the two and seeing what kind of results I get... Till next time and thanks for tall he informative video's!!
Any aerosol spray like bang will eventually affect your soft plastic grubs were they get stiffer after being sprayed constantly... Personally I use smelly jelly- crawfish scent on all my soft plastics, never had a issue, I don't use any scent that imitates bait fish, they are pickerel magnets and I'd rather not catch them...
I've used Yamamoto's in a tube for DS, but I started using BaitFuel to do my own experimentATION.
Like you said, scent, "doesn't hurt,"
I assume scent _covers_ unnatural smells ... at least a bit.
Those crawfish baits that look just like crawfish caught me 🙄
I’ve seen guys put scent on there live baits they swear by the stuff.
I come down to the one comment; “It doesn’t hurt.” And it may help, if nothing else, it may help mask any “unnatural” smells from my hands or the materials the bait is made from, like plastics, paints, etc. It may simply help something that looks like food to also smell like food.
scents are made to catch the angler 😂 jkjk
Rather than always using scent to mask ,use a alcohol based hand wash with scent added to wash between fish,do you believe fish emit fear hormones from Beneath there scales .
It just masks your scent.
Baitfuel, biggest scam in fishing.
cheating
😂
