The information given here may be 10 or 20 years outdated. Most of the planes have newer versions with better characteristics. For example - F/A 18 Hornet has already built 3 generations of newer F/A Super Hornet - Block 1, 2 and 3. F-15 is now in versions: Silent Eagle, Strike Eagle and the most recent F-15EX.
Do not pay attention ... It's the Russians who made the rating so that they can put their shit of the 80s of development in 2nd place ....

There are 3 types of attack aircraft, the strategic target type of which most of these are. The second is tactical aircraft which strike targets in the area beyond the immediate ground combat area, then the third which are close air support which take place in the immediate ground combat area. For the first the F-15 strike eagle and the newer F-35 excel. For the second the Su-34, the F-16 and F-18 Super Hornet are best and for close air support the A-10 wins the prize. These are my opinions only!

@Duminica Septembrie Really, and you base this CLAIM on what evidence. In the pure ground attack roll, nothing beats the Warthog. The Ukrainians knock the Su-25 out of the sky with impunity. It isn't as survivable as the A-10. Now, SU-25s are not even allowed to attack straight away. They come in low and "toss" their bombs and rockets over their own troops and hope it will hit Ukrainian positions. This spray and pray approach is highly ineffective and ends up hitting their own troops. At low altitudes, the A-10 is much more maneuverable and several times more survivable than the Su-25. The SU-25 is, at best, a cheap imitation of the A-10. You need to expand your sources because the ones you have now are embarrassing you.
That tomcat concept I clicked on. Super sick... Bring that back, modernized with the original 1986 vibe.
A few aircraft I thought should be on this list weren't mentioned. Some aircraft listed are designed to take on an interceptor role as well.

A-10, SU-25, A-37, AV-8 Harrier II, MiG-27, SU-39 Are attack Ground support antitank aircraft and support troops
B-1, TU 160, F-111, B-2, Mirage IV, Avro Vulcan are heavy bombers and deep penetrator strategic bombers

@@thirdworldrider6991.. I'm not a computer genius, but it does seem like a merching of 2, 3 different aircrafts. It's most likely a fake picture, created just to catch peoples interest. The thumbnail aircraft, most probably dosen't exist.
It looks cool though, but A LOT of thumbnails used are fakes.

F-18 A model entered service in early 1984 i was in the squadron that received them , VFA-131 Wildcats NAS Cecil Field Fla . Should have put the F-14 Tomcat in this list as well , good video thou !

Where are the A10, SU25 and the Rafale ? They are able to attack on the ground. The A10 is considered the best American ground attack aircraft even though it is old. And the Rafale is currently considered the best airplane in the world for export

@@floridaboy3539 The first F-22s had an oxygen problem. I assume that has been resolved. With the Russian Blackjack around, we still need an interceptor. The F-14 production was killed because of maintenance costs.

There isn't a whole hell of a lot that is going to still want to take their chances with a F-15 but with F-22 and now F-35 in the picture, the way war is fought in the sky has completely changed , although the enemy has yet to figure out how or why .

It is obviously a VERY old video. :-) Probably it as been made in late 80 or mid 90. Many other ground attack A/C are missing.

@@lab-acreation7304 A week ago???? This is surprising. Most of these A/C are old or very old (some of them are not produced anymore or totally retired: :SEPECAT Jaguar for exemple). And talking about the Mirage when the Rafale is there to replace it is surprising especially for the oldest version of the Mirage. For me it was a very old video dedicated to A/C of the late 1990.

This isn't a review, it's bullshit. Where Is The Su-25? This front-line stormtrooper can do what others can't. It has the highest protection, it is a good UAV hunter, and it has the most reliable engines that can be refueled with gasoline and diesel.

I don't know by what criteria the planes were chosen? You could find yourself on that list and you could find a super eagle of Serbian production on the list. It has everything that a tornado has and even voice commands. Su-34 There is no competition. Neither as a fighter nor as a bomber. The F-15 is a good plane, but it deserves to give way on the list of places for 3-4 Russian planes, even 2-3 American ones. Mirage-2000 and other planes were run over by time. Everything seems museum-like to me, not military. Michubishi's copy of the F-16 may have some detail other raiders one motorbike can be withdrawn from the list.
Russian equipment is unreliable and overrated. There's not a Russian plane that can handle an F-15.
