In addition to being a compelling and serious artist, Mark Bradford seems so authentic and aware. A rare and inspirational person.
That’s crazy , Anderson just came upon him on the street ! That’s so Great!!!!!
Great clip! A talented person has abilities to visualise an object and create into an art concept. A genius pick up any objects around them and use their creativity to turn into artistic forms. If someone asked them how much their works worth. There's no values to this, it's priceless!
hats off to a 60 Minutes for bringing this to more people
Im completely gassed by the work
I watched the interview last night but a CBS why don't you release the full interview free please?
Great story, amazing artist. Thanks for sharing. Beauty is something we all need right now in such a seemingly ugly world.
Fabulous!!! Creative, compelling, intelligent, exposing our humanity
Nice job, he's is very creative and intelligent!
it's nice see how he works with a comum stuff with compared to another artists.
But the results are incredible!.
Excellent! Wish this had closed captioning, 60 Minutes!
really? you couldnt even put the artists name in the title? isnt he the one being interviewed? maybe the title shouldve been "Anderson cooper's chance meeting with artist Mark Bradford"
Amazing ! Congrats!!
What a great artist!
He is FAB!! Mark Bradford works is stunning
Outstanding again watching after month
Captivating.
Wow!
Beautiful work
I would like to see more about the artist.
Wow…that is a wow report on so many levels.
Outstanding
Great story Anderson wonderful wonderful I think I know him because we were all around each other in the 80s I think so that's what Los Angeles was so much different he will he'll tell you that
Rodriquez vs USA, Vasquez vs Dax - the public needs awareness of this story and law enforcement needs to be compelled to answer
I've seen Bradford's work several times and I'm a fan. I also went to art school and taught art, so...
I'm a fan but abstracts are not for everyone
As some of these comments reflect
I challenge you to rethink this premise. Abstraction is the oldest art style.
@@Gulfstreams Have u read other comments? Some people are vile. Clearly, they don't get abstract. I dont either but do appreciate art, would never criticize the artist.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So how is it done then? Not gonna tell us.....
Zima Blue ?
Riiiight......
My story has been decided by the Supreme Court, the 10th circuit has upheld the same decision. When are Americans going to freely exercise their 4th amendment without fear of rights infringed
I wonder how different the comments would be if this was a white person.....
Actually forget my last Comment, You are the worst kind a brotha, Scrap that your skin might be dark but you aint even a real brotha, Some wanna be civil rights expert. Take your little whiny self to the Masjid, Learn how to make Salat And pray to God that he might turn you into a real man Instead of a whining Malcolm X wanna be... I bet money you aint from no urban city environment. I might be wrong but in my experience whiny little wanna be civil rights expert fake black man type of guys like yourself usually are from the suburbs and I bet money you are to. I see through you

This is interesting, I mean, what can I say?
Dyn-o-mite!
There are millions of artists who make art that is better than his. Why aren't they famous and selling their works for $10Million? THAT'S the story that you News people never report.
You're funny. The stereotypical Philistine (a person who is hostile or indifferent to culture and the arts, or who has no understanding of them}. These works are way, WAY over your head.
@@holyworrier TY! Bless, they are trying though.
holyworrier if you’re so enlightened then please explain what exactly went over our heads. what does modern art so express about human creativity and skill or excellence? It seems that today “artists” can vainly put together complete trash and can call it art, though it is not. But “beauty is in eye of the beholder” you might say, well If it is I don’t see art in this “modern” trash, I don’t see human excellence skill, or creativity. And you be to quick to draw conclusions if you so insist on being tolerant and accepting everything, then you will accept this ‘philistine’s opinion, again eye of the beholder bs, right?
Honestly though you guys are sheep. you can’t just call everything art, there are universal standards to beauty and order, there always have been.
@@aethiluvatar Id be more than happy to have this conversation with you but send me a message.
Yo! You stoopid?
wowwww.
Hmm, ok I will say it, how is his art any different than a child throwing paint or paper on a wall?
He's using paper
Kids care less about making it look crazy and filled with so much color and have some consistent theme
Not buying it.
@@hoderharris people say that about any other artist. I think the only difference is people saw value in it.
@@katelynbrown98 not really, who says that about Rembrandt or Degas?
Fabulous Anderson a darn good fine Yahweh Bless You both😍😍😍
PURE GARBAGE AND INSANITY
I am having a hard time disagreeing with you. I don't get this art at all.
If someone wants to buy it, they have the freedom to do it. But, personally, I still don't get it.
@@markldavis1 When people wear ignorance on their sleeves and thinks its grace.
Bradford actually has included garbage in some of his work! Pretty neat, huh?😀

PEACEMONY !!!
I love the technique and ingenuity but he needs to improve the imagery. Most new art is plagerized and the new work that's unique is it's only quality, it's not very appealing.
All of art history is filled with copies, copying, referencing. Its as old as art itself. Its only a narcissist who think what he do is original.
I am amazed that he sells this stuff. I just don't get it. I don't get it at all.
I have no problem if he is able to sell his art, people are free to buy his art.
I do wonder in 100 years or even in 500 years if people will get it then
Perhaps it's not for you to "get".
And expressing this here accomplishes what, exactly? Why are you worried about 100 yrs or 500 yrs? You're alive now and this living artists is showing you something about YOUR world. Its free for you to partake and listen. But its up to you.
