Thank you for doing this man because just today I got scammed and honestly it was pretty clever i had just ordered a covid test from usps before they stopped doing free ones and I got this text message saying I put in my address wrong and me not thinking I gave them my card and address again... big mistake they took out 50 dollars and I couldn't even get it back! But yeah. I hope those scammer get jail time or something
You and the others remind me of another small group of people that recognized a problem that was being over looked by many including law enforcement. That group is AWP. AWP started just two men removing trash and abandoned cars from the rivers and lakes. One day they found a body, their mission changed ad they began closing missing people cold cases. Just like you a small handful of people have created a movement that helps so many. Thank you for what you do.
Had the exact same thing happen to a family member. Remember to check the email rules on your email - whoever hacked my family member's email set for every inbound email to be forwarded to a third party, and then sent to Trash (this is so the scammer can intercept every inbound email, but to the user it just looks like there are none).
This was a bit different because the scammer was using a different email address than the person they were pretending to be. So probably they did steal the password and get into the account, but then all they did after that was grab the contacts.
I really enjoy watching your videos and I've learned so much from your videos and I'm now playing along with the scammers and I get some great reactions from them and what you should try doing the next time you receive an email like that you should turn around and create a fake email and pretend to be a scammer and see how far you can get

Hi, I'm your big fan here. While it's not kind of related to your video, I just want to say thank you for your amazing works. Last week someone from Grindr pretended to be a sugar daddy and ask me to be a sugar baby. We have a conversation until he said he would sent me $2500 but with a twist, he said that his bank needed $40 Steam gift card to process the transaction. I was very suspicious since the bank would never ask my Steam gift card so I decide to grab his IP like you did in your video, surprisingly they were in Nigeria. I exposed them and also reported them to Grindr mods. Again, thank you for your amazing videos, it's actually a lesson for me to beware of those scams
Since watching scam bait channels I have realized how many scams there actually are everywhere. I have ben getting so many messages from those extremely hot doctors who work in third world country’s or they work in the army or something and then they go on on how sad and lonely they are and stuff even saying he loves me within the first 30 min talking( I knew it was fake but I was bored so I just played along😂) and then I say how sad and broke I am and then they suddenly disappear 😂
Wasting a scammer's time is actually heroic, i personally don't have that much patience i almost immediately give them shit but mr hugh jass here is saving people
I'm pretty sure they sell the claim code at the bottom of the eGift card email, and that's why he wasn't worried that you were sending him an eGift card
I get friend requests from people I already on in my friends list. I usually send a message to the real friend first to let them know they may have been hacked. The last one let me know that it was him as he opened a second account. I did check first to make sure it was his original count before sending the info. I also got a request one time from my sister who, of course, was already on my list of friends. But this time I accepted the request and waited. Sure enough there was a request for money. My engaging with this one did not last long as I asked if the person if she wanted me to feed her dogs when she left for vacation (my sister was not going on vacation nor does she have dogs). I never got a response from the scammer so that was the end of that except I did unfriend after that (no response) response. After that I reported the fake account. Did not do the things that you do as I did not care where he or she was from but was just checking to see if I was correct that it was a stolen account. Thank you for showing us this type of scam.
I was about to ask for you to do a video on this, it's hilarious how low effort this scam is too. It's easy to see it's a fake account to where they just ripped the logo off the real one. Not sure how much their getting from these scams honestly but I can't imagine it's much.

You are never being mean to Nigerians! They are scamming people! I hope you get more of them! Excellent work!
"Ben Dover" here always doing the right thing to do and make scammers waste time, you got a fan here.
The chime that plays when the scammer is from Nigeria never gets old!
Found you from the Peoples Call Center and can’t stop watching your videos! Keep up the great work!
Ok watever I don't even care anymore I got a diff attitude already . It's still messed up wat u did, but watever
@@vegasthornton846 who even are you?
They are not fucking Nigerians not everyone that scams is Nigerian, they might be Russians you just admit they are Nigerians
So did they somehow know you ordered the real tests or were they just guessing since they knew so many people were doing it at the same time?
@@Sashazur I assume it was just a shot in the dark tbh but God was it a good one lol
Outstanding. Thanks for all you do
Bro is trying to prevent scammers while scamming people with terrible cereal.I ordered it,I was immediately disappointed
Great video! Glad I got to play a small part in helping you with this challenge.
Embarrassing a scammer is epic Thank You Pleasant 🙏
Every video everytime gets better! Keep the great work Pleasant! 🙂
“Adventures with a Purpose”, it’s a really interesting CZcams channel!
@@Sashazur It is heartwarming to see social media bringing people together to handle issues that law enforcement are unable to.
"No one is more kindly than scammers"😆
I feel for the real Michael. All of that trash email requesting money, yuck. Thanks for the scammers update.
I love when you call out those losers
Scammers should know by now not to cross Ben Dover's path lol 🤣
Great job, Pleasant Green ! Love your videos. 💗
I really enjoy watching your videos and I've learned so much from your videos and I'm now playing along with the scammers and I get some great reactions from them and what you should try doing the next time you receive an email like that you should turn around and create a fake email and pretend to be a scammer and see how far you can get
I've watched enough PG that when he said "And guess where the IP was located?" and I immediately out loud did his nigerian song he plays right on cue 😂😂😂😂
You are doing God's work each and every day, Ben! Much love and God bless you!!
Imagine paying $10 for a box of cereal...
I think a Hacker is blackmailing him to shill for them 😂
you’re like the doug demero of scammers, i love you😭
DAMN! It kills me how much you go through to expose & eff with these crooks! ✨👏🏼😎✨
Your videos are ALWAYS interesting, please continue your good work!
Man this kinda makes me want to mess with scammers too
Same here!
Make sure to use a VPN and an email account you're willing to part ways with.
I once got a scammer to do a world sandwich with me some years ago, to make up for the time he made me waste. Good shit.

Magic spoon = rich ppl cereal. It might be the healthiest and kids might like it, but their website has it at $9.75 / box, 4 boxes required. “Regular” cereal is 1/2 or less and you can just buy one.
I don’t think kids like it. It’s pretty tasteless according to my kids.
I thank you for saving and educating people about scams pleasant green.
I had the same thing happen when my online E-mail account got hacked. Fortunately I caught it within 20 minutes, but it still took a good 6 -8 hrs to get everything squared away.
The Script the hacker used was almost identical!
As a Nigerian, I say good job. Be wary. There's probably more of em on there.
@@crazycatlady6226 Even if you tell them you're completely broke, many will then try to recruit you as a money mule.
Wasting a scammer's time is actually heroic, i personally don't have that much patience i almost immediately give them shit but mr hugh jass here is saving people
Omg when it said Lagos Nigeria, I burst into tears! 🤣🤣🤣
great job desk clump buddy! creative idea and the vid was super entertaining
I don’t eat cereal in the morning. I eat eggs. Great video though. Keep it up man :)
You much have a lot of time lol

Pleasant Green: you deserve better sponsors for your content
"I want to put some smile into her face.."😁😆🤣😂😭
I'm using that one. No doubt about it.
Keep up the great work busting scammers!!!!!!!!
Ben, have you seen those signs around your town saying "Free 20 to your cash app!!" and then give a website to claim your 20 bucks?
I'm pretty sure they sell the claim code at the bottom of the eGift card email, and that's why he wasn't worried that you were sending him an eGift card
Can the real Jim Pleasant contact me please I need your help !!!!

Nothing makes me happy than hearing your Nigerian IP music track!!
Also can just call that person and ask if they sent you a request or something
Great video pleasant green, I really wish I could try Magic Spoon but it’s so darn expensive. Shame because the macros look decent
The aftertaste and texture are terrible and the flavor is bad
BEN! Brilliant. Great entertainment scambaiting. You Rock dude
I was about to ask for you to do a video on this, it's hilarious how low effort this scam is too. It's easy to see it's a fake account to where they just ripped the logo off the real one. Not sure how much their getting from these scams honestly but I can't imagine it's much.
Scammers: I am the best at scamming people.
Pleasant Green: Im gonna end this mans whole career.
0:16 DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH MAGIC SPOON IF YOUR IN THE U.K.
they make you buy 4 boxes minimum at a total of $46.99 including postage (that’s about £40.50)
With a box of kellogs cornflakes cereal in the U.K. costing £2 for a 500g box that’s like about 20 boxes for the same price
Looks like Ben Dover is trying to scam us with his cereal
Good thing that people like you are exposing his own scam in return. Can’t believe that he’d sell his soul for some crappy cereal.
@@Tim-007 it’s an advertisement, he gets paid for it lol. I agree it’s overpriced, but he’s not tricking anyone into buying it like a scammer.
@@Tim-007 yea even their single serve ( pack of 8 ) is like $19/£16.38 that’s like £2.47 per portion and that’s not including postage on top
It’s a total SCAM
@@heddlestenphotography3189 yea but he is pushing it on nearly every videos and when his ads are like 1.5 mins in an 8 min video, that says he is trying to push it to everyone
I despise when CZcamsrs include a sponsorship video of an absolutely awful product. Most products/services they don't use in their daily life!
Once I see notification of your video on youtube, I just leave everything whatever I'm doing and get my popcorn ready.Greetings from new jersey pleasant green.
That email link change was actually smart af!
I don't know how Pleasant Green is being mean to scammers in Nigeria. They deserve what comes to them. I think it is pretty funny how he deals with scammers, it is more entertaining then watching tv.
From Nigeria myself, I'm enjoying what he's doing😂
PG highlighted in the video Nigerians graphic designers who are honest and do good work. So, exposing one bad character while crediting good guys is an excellent example. 👍
❤ love your channel Ben!!!
can believe you’re getting close to 1mil, u deserve so much more tho
Cool video ... I smile every time I see a PG notification ... I know I'm gonna get a laugh. On the sponsor Magic Spoon? I really didn't LOVE the cereal, it was VERY expensive, and the serving sizes are VERY small. I did get the $5 off, but that basically covers the shipping charge. Seems like healthy eating is the same as eating Gourmet food cost-wise.
Imagine the scammer eats magic spoons XD
Nigeria does have a horrible reputation for scammers and it's not undeserved however the editor for my book is also from Nigeria and she's done an amazing job at reasonable rates.
He highlights the good people in Nigeria pretty often to balance out the stereotype.

Do you have a link to that full version of the Nigerian jingle you play? I tried to search for it (just so I can read the comments of the video but also to hear how the rest of it goes) but could not.
