Those pumice stones are amazing in older homes with ceramic everything. One of my clients asked me how did I get her tub and toilet so clean I told her I can’t reveal my secrets or she would not need me anymore. Lol. 😂
First discovered one when visiting my son in AZ. Super hard water ring in the guest bathroom, seldom used. Pumice stone took it right out….and yes, need a light touch with one

Pumice stone will scratch the ceramic surface that crude and algae and mold will use to attach itself. It's better to treat that mineral buildup with sulfamic acid crystals over time along with scrubbing and Lime Away on the regular.
yo, i would never clean this kind of toilet i rather to take it off and get install a new one, is that makes sense?, you scrub it a lot i'm sure you scratch it a lot too and it comes back after a month of using it.

As a professional cleaner, the only product that I use in toilets is Lysol. There isn't a better brand out there. It will remove just about any stains given enough time and applications.

The Lysol bowl cleaner isn't strong enough to damage the porcelain so you can leave it sit for quite a while. I have cleaned toilets way, way worse with just lysol. I have also used it to remove tub rings and clean sinks, just don't use it on stainless steel as it can potentially leave marks.
The thing of it is, to not let your toilet get anywhere near that kind of dirty. My mom always taught me that the cleanest rooms in the house are the kitchen and bathroom. Also, to keep my corners clean.

Pits ,small holes or imperfections have formed or its already in the toilet. It needs to be cleaned atleast once a week and bowl helper. If we could recoat the area...no issue

Use muriatic acid as that comes off in seconds but please drain the water in the bowl and wear gloves to prevent getting burnt and use a sponge snd pour little by little as your cleaning it

I use the lysol in the black bottle, you don't have to scrub those hard water and limescale stains, it dissolves them!

I’ve never had an issue with them. It’s very important to make sure the pumice stone is wet and the surface you’re scrubbing is also wet.
