The problem is those call centers are in third world country and do not understand what are the issues, or even do not care about drivers
Exactly, they pay to Indian people $100 bucks monthly and Central America people $200 bucks monthly and they only know cancel order and deactivate accounts.

I like how you said that because the call center support staff members often times don't advocate for the drivers despite their title "support". I had an issue where I wasn't getting rides so I chatted with an agent and their only resolution was "Go somewhere where you can get more rides.....". I explained to her that where I live, the airport provides drivers with the best opportunity to make the most money without nickel and diming in the city for $3-$4 dollars. Our airport (Valley International Airport) is pretty much the only area in the city that surges. Those support agents probably have never driven for Uber/Lyft before and they don't listen to the driver's experience.

How does a driver "tamper with gps?" That don't even make any sense to me. 🤷🏼♀️
You can't tamper with the GPS it's a fiction.
There are ways to tamper with the GPS on your phone look it up
There are ways to hack phones and manipulate the gps locations. People actually do use this to grab surges, for example.
There are apps out there that will let you spoof a GPS location making it look like you're somewhere you're not.
GPS isnt controlled by drivers from what I know..This is so odd!
My husband drives for UBER. Last week he got a call from an insurance company because someone reported him; stating they had an accident while he was driving. No such thing happened. People will say anything to get a free ride. It’s bizarre.
I am on Uber pro for Uber driving seven days a week with 35,000 trips in six years and I got deactivated wrongfully because of the report by the Rider who wants to take advantage of a free trip or whatever I wish I can sue Uber, it’s been Four years I’m out of the platform. I’m so frustrated that I was never represented. It’s too biased and unfair. I have maintained zero cancellation 100% pick up rate and I got deactivated Wtf! Uber

I am sorry brother. I know the feeling of being deactivated. I was deactivated for 2.5 months and fortunately they re-reviewedmy case and gave it back to me.
You had to call them and ask why. But now you dont want to be on that Plattform with this low pay. Trust me. I have 44k rides and i quit last year in June when i came to under 1500 a week for 12 hours every day. Cost Was 900, so for 600 i dont do 80-90 hours a week. No way.
So this is a new one on me. Yesterday I tried to take screenshots of the crappy requests that Uber was sending to me, but it seems like they don't allow that anymore. I was no longer able to take a screenshot of their requests. I guess they don't want the media to be able to see what they're trying to get away with.
Today as I write this now, I have not gotten one request after being online for about an hour having driven about 26 mi towards the busy areas. Could it be I'm being punishe for not accepting those requests and trying to screenshot them, or could it be that they don't like what I post on your channel? We all know they are scrutinizing everything we do.
On a side note as far as that narcissistic prick who thinks he has the right to order us around and threaten us with no tip, another option would be to tell him this:
There will be no delivery.
Your order has been canceled.
As an independent contractor, I and I alone have the right to decide if the delivery conditions are unsafe. I will not risk being attacked by a dog by walking through a gate with a sign warning me of a dog's presence while carrying food.

@@AskTorsten I just got a notification on Uber saying that Prop 22 is currently being changed on the courts by labor unions and the final hearing is happening tomorrow May 21, 2024. If you can pls make a video about it, you have a way bigger reach than I do, and if they can join the Protect App-Based Drivers and Services (PADS) to help support Prop 22. If you need me to email you a screen shot of the notification just provide me an Email and I will gladly send you the image.

Tampering with the GPS could mean using a spoof location app. I knew a driver who would do this to grab surges on Uber from the airport even though he was at home miles away.
Back before Uber bought Postmates you could use fake gps and PM apparently did nothing to try to stop you. lol
In the name of cheap customer service personnel, support team, those rideshare companies hired foreigners in some far countries to service the US based drivers. Most do not understand the US citizenry right and the regulatory laws of this land.
Same thing happened to me woth lyft 2 years ago from there dumb ass gps or whatever i couldnt end ride and the passenger was rude on top of that saying im cistin them more money yet i didnt mive anywere i stayed in place as drop off and couldnt end dam trip, so Lyft deactivated me wit a 5 star rating all along

EMBRACE deactivation, its the best thing that could ever happen to you because driving for ANY of these companies was a rip-off, and is more of a rip-off NOW than it ever has been!
This companies don't care , for them it's " easier " to deactivated a driver than dealing with the issue, because its time consuming and money spent, and they know there's a lot of drivers out there and someone will replaced it, that's the reality.. they don't care if you're a 5 star driver, their priority its passengers and make more money...
Screw rhe GPS issues.... DoorDash is now allowing contract violations to be placed on Drivers for following Alcohol Laws.... they want to fire people for doing their job legally....

Few can lead to this, if you are using a VPN app, using VoIP number, jailbreak android phones can easily tamper with the GPS signal. Using 3rd party app to filter or capture Uber and Lyft calls. Using Hotspots to connect a no sim card phones.
Morning, I been deactivated today for 14 days and honestly, I don't even know why? They said is a safety issue that happen between March 19-21, and they deactivated me on May 5th, how can they let this go for so long? I have more than 13k trips, 4.95 starts (reviews) work like 50hrs a week with almost 100 trips a week. Monday the 13th of this month I spoke with somebody for 35 minutes and they said the same thing (still under investigation) they will get with me when this is finished, also, they said is a temporally not permanent.
How much longer I have to wait? I'm losing on an average 1000 a week.

Lol I’m deactivated for that. So GPS tampering is another explanation for fraudulent activity. It actually got nothing to do with gps but that called like that.
Once you send demand letter and if you get response from their legal team, they will give you proper explanation. They know what you did wrong and they don’t deactivate for no reason.

If your GPS is ever buggy - Go into Apps, and FORCE QUIT w Uber, and Restart your phone with Lyft. Works every time their APPs Glitches and GPS has issues.
Every day Uber loses it GPS Tracking with my phone so I just force reboot it and problem solved.

Every time i have GPS problems, i log off. Then i called customer service. It's worse when it rains. I just won't work. And the addresses are never right 😐😐

Some people have fake gps but u can cheat some deliveries on uber eats, if u do uberx doesn't make sense...
No I've lost GPS before. And Uber certainly isn't going to make public their "criteria".
