I love how you get deep into conversation, mainly because you do some beatboxing yourself. It's not just some easy-made reacting to someone else's content, you actually make it more worthwhile to watch you, and I appreciate it. Anyways here's some recommendations to watch if you don't mind:

Some of the most technical but also musical stuff I've heard in a while.
Hiss is doing this thing called clickroll. One of my favorite and most developed sound for sure.
Liproll with clickroll is my sega sound if the lips are tight but if it’s loose than it’s a wobble liproll.

I’ve always admired beat boxing since first hearing it in the 70s (? Maybe early 80s) but besides being told “boots n cats n” I’ve never had any idea of the actual techniques being used as those good at it are doing it all so fast. I appreciate not only your enthusiasm for this art, but also your insight into what’s difficult and then clues as to what they are doing. It makes it much more impressive and enjoyable - you’re like someone explaining the rules of a sport so it’s not just people running around on a field looking athletic, and it starts to become tactics and skill :)

12:00 That's honestly a fair guess! What Hiss used was a lip roll and I don't know exactly how all the pro beatboxers do it, but I've gotten a fairly similar result by flicking my tongue over to the lip so it cuts the airflow for a brief moment to give it that extra rolling effect. It's one of the sounds Huckle is known for because he can roll it really quick and for a long time. You can hear it in Huckle's round too at 6:13, or you can also check out his SBX shoutout called "I'm in love" to listen to how cleanly he does that technique.

@@kruzyen That's interesting, I always thought he could, just that he couldn't pitch it well because it's a sound he struggles with. I don't know if I'm convinced you could do that technique with a clickroll though, I'll be honest.
@@mystixmusix ive been watching hiss for a long time, he's really flexible with his clickrolls and thats why he can actually pitch his "liproll" pretty well, just that he has trouble reaching bassier end cause its a clickroll lol

also if you slow down any of his clickrolls and his "liprolls" you'll realise the frequency of the vibrations are almost the same and also noticeably faster than most liprolls
on the notion of it being possible i havent seen anyone else do this honestly other than hiss
@@kruzyen I think there's a bit of a misunderstanding regarding which technique I'm referring to. I'm talking about the staccato liproll that he does when he gets up in Huckle's face at 11:56 in this reaction, not his "liproll" itself.
