Orignally Produced by Tom Ferris and directed by Wilf Waters for Midland Publishing/Online video in the 1990s, this series of 9 documentaries (of which this is the 4th) is likely one of the most comprehensive looks into the railways of Ireland from the 1930s all the way up to the late 1960s. Please enjoy looking at the railways of this country as they once were, both on the extensive standard guage network and the vast narrow gauge network that covered the near entirety of Ireland.

Seriously? 2.02 minutes into the video and I get 2 adverts? Nope, I'm out of here.

Most of the other videos from this series don't have any ads on them. I believe this one does due to the introduction music apperantly being copyright claimed, which is a shame.
