- In this video I attempted to collect responses from as many viewpoints as possible. It's an attempt to be as un-biased as possible and see what the streaming community overall thinks. I do have my own opinion and that is it is very suspicious and seems targeted. I would like to see this issue come forth publicly from Jagex.
Even for people who absolutely hate oda, they at least have to admit that its completely inappropriate for a jmod to be dating a osrs streamer who is suspicious at best and outright a scammer/rwter at worst. Jagex needs to step in and just tell trident that he's demoted due to a conflict of interest. You don't even need to prove misconduct, he should be demoted purely on principle.

Accurate. Honestly he should be fired outright and she should be perma banned.
At best jagex will be lucky to walk away clean if they aren't investigated for unregistered gambling and inside trading considering the details and millions of dollars through bonds "gifted" and bought that are solely spent on staking.
I know of at least two people that have brought this to government authorities with hefty weight because of this. I'm sure 1000 others have that I don't know about.
If jagex doesn't end up in the news within the next few years I'll be surprised.

Honestly i like new updates, but i lost interest in the game . I just dont have time to grind and kill a boss 300 times for a drop anymore. Thinking about going back to pvp just because theres always some adrenaline in it.

He was 100% not banned for saying he doesn't support trans people, it's 100% the DMing CC he started and his CC blew up taking massive amounts of money away from Stella, who's in some kind of relationship with mod trident, who had just became the leader of the anticheat team of jagex right before odas ban.

That's mostly also because 2007scape has been deleting all posts and comments supporting odablock, and the comments that don't get deleted get downvoted so much you have to sort by controversial to even see them lol. It's lame but idk
There are many aspects to this... but fundamentally it all boils down to what kind of company Jagex wants to portray itself as, since it was their choice to go through with this.
I can't speak about what the allegations brought up make things in respect to Oda's accounts getting banned. However, I do know that to pursue this on Jagex's part after this backlash is destructive in a way that makes it so that they're losing from their own actions here because of Oda's popularity and presence negatively affecting their own - EVEN IF Oda was right to get both his accounts banned here.
Jagex, in my opinion should loosen up it's permanence policy and apply a common-sense rule because if they don't cater to the individual(s) it will not be something they will ever find themselves reaping from in the long-run.

@@privateprivate688 other people that have done what he has done did not get perm bans. They also normally only ban the account that was serviced not an IP ban. It's also the timing he has said many times over the years he's serviced but why not him then? It's more the timing than the admission of guilt. Kempq, Stella, sparc Mac, you can go on and on, they got temp banned. Or not at all in some cases.

I'm so grateful to anyone who subscribed from this video! Although this is not an exclusively OSRS channel, I've played since 2003 and I really enjoy getting reactions/perspectives from different types of people. All I want to ask (and y'all are honestly doing a great job at it already) is to keep disagreements as civil as possible. I personally believe disagreements/freedom of thought and speech (within youtube's guidelines here) are one of the best things about being human. It's possible to accept someone's opinion without agreeing with it, it's possible to accept someone without supporting them or what they think. To me this is much different from hate or slander. Y'all rock!

I wish I could've gotten more reactions but the reality is a LOT of streamers not in this video refused to comment. Respect is not given it's earned. I gotta hand it to those who gave logical and concise responses. I personally do not blame the ones that are scared to speak out one way or another. I'm nobody so I have nothing to lose by doing a little fun journalism haha

To be fair, with just a surface level look at what happened the ban being related to what oda said is one of the easier conclusions to make. When i saw oda's thumbnail i too first thought it was related. But after watching it, it definitely puts a different light on it. The events prior to his ban was a great diversion to spin the ban to be about what oda said.

I think Runescape dug it's grave when they brought out RS3 tbh. Also the only reason this game is even still relevant is down to the live streamers and with oda being the biggest they've just pissed off 80% of the actual Runescape players.

You can dislike oda all you want, but the fact remains, stella is romantically involved with a jmod who happend to find bannable offenses for anyone who stands in their way. If the allegations against stella are true, this can be a deep rabbit hole. My tinfoil hat theory is gp is a perfect vehicle for money laundering for those who know how to bypass the system, either by connections to corrupt mods or know how. I would even speculate that the carlyle group is behind most of the bots and people rwt accts and gp.
And it’s not even about oda, many many people have been banned after taking Stellas gp tru dms in her cc. So it’s a thing they do to anyone in their way but since those people didn’t have odas voice it just goes unheard. Trident needs to be removed out of simple ethics.
