No, it's not a remake at all. If you run the original and revisited side by side you'll notice all the instruments and vocals from the original are the same. There is a little more dynamic compression on the piano and vocals in the revisited, drums have 80s gated reverb sound in contrast to the 70s dry sound and there are additional guitars. But otherwise all the performances from the original are there.
