The majority of players "opinions" are simply parroted opinions from whatever "pro player" or "content creator" says....
Content creators having pretty off the cuff opinions themselves ... minus, of course, the regurgitation.
Then there's the landfill you call the CZcams comment section, where everybody's got to chime in just for participation's sake! Notice its uniformity and shared tenor with the 2 or 3 most upvoted comments. Reddit is an even worse example of this because of downvote visibility.
I like this tekken 8 jin. Dudes complaining about him are mostly kazuya mains imo. They just want jin Nerfed, so kazuya is better, lol.

THANK YOU! Finally someone understands! i played jin since day one in t8 and i have 1400h with him in t7. Since the release of the game, the only thing i have realized is that it's harder now then ever to play jin because everyone and their grandmother played him in the story mode and know all his moves inside out.
Everyone who complains about jin's heat smash are the same people who refuse to spend 10 minutes in the lab to learn how to block d2, LLRK and db4. Also the same people who would say that Kaz ff3 is totally 100% reactable (which it is but that's not the point lol)
When the game first released I thought for sure Jin's Heat Smash would get nerfed. I thought it was comical and absurd. But now I realized it's not nearly as good as I thought. It's easily stepped/interrupted with shit range. It's still good but it has its weaknesses.
I predicted people would start bitching about Jin when I saw the patch notes. The FGC does not disappoint when it comes to childish discourse surrounding these games.
Tbh range got nerfed which is likely why it whiffs now. Funnily enough it also was "buffed" in the same patch to make it consistent but this didn't help at all lmao
@damagexcaling I had an idea. We know that BAMCO is lazy, but we seen the Jin LLRK launching in Story Mode ep1. The move exists in the code.
There would be a campaign to just bring back that BUFF, there may be some other nerf, but we should press Harada/Murray on this.

Well I still think he is weak 😂 have highest win rate against Jins I am Reina main. Jin's mostly can't open up my defence unless it's not d4, when I lose to Jin, the player is overall better than me with stronger fundamentals, mindgames, timings. D2 is reactable although hard to punish properly, db4 reactable, helsweep reactable and very punishable, mid game is really strong nevertheless but I am former Jin main so I know most of techs they use against me.
Nah at first everyone was saying that he's top 1 due to TMM brainrot. The truth is that Jin is strong but not nearly as strong as some people make him out to be

T8 Jin indeed is easier compare to T7 Jin, but is yet to be the easiest to win over opponent in T8. Every level/rank i manage to get thru, i ll have to squeeze my brain to learn how to win the opponent because its like in each level/rank they ll know more abt my moves. Darn XD

@patricio8569 I found that past blue, knowledge checks way heavy, lab or watch replays where you lose to see where you can punish, sidestep, duck etc. You got this 👍

I heard that some people said Jins demon paw needs to be nerfed 😅 As a Jin main , I disagree , mainly because hes still requires good execution . Im at tenryu and Im just hard stuck with him there due to skill issues on my end .
As a Jin main all demon paws shouldn’t have any tracking to either side so they all should be nerfed
demon paw is absolutely disastrous on whiff, whether that's caused by the opponent stepping or backdashing. definitely doesn't need a nerf, you get full launched if it doesn't at least get blocked.
@@1AdA-Greats I only use demon paw on wake up against the opponent and to create distance , if it connects , it connects but dam do I get punished hard core when I miss

3:00 Oh so your opinion on omen stance is back to it being trash. I agree. It has short range, loses to grabs, loses to heat smash, loses to armor moves, loses to heat burst. Let's keep it consistent from now on. Let's not suddenly change opinions and call it "strong" or "broken" just because we want to dunk on some disgruntled Jin mains voicing their opinion out on X (formerly known as twitter).
The more you play the more you find out, it has its uses but i never hid that definitely needs overhauls in the way it operates, Jin should be able to store it, and i will defend this until the day i die

The thing why Jin has many complaint lately because many of cheaters use Jin as their main, with auto macro combo/auto block/move read ,Jin(this along with some that i had meet like Lily, Bryan and Shaheen! yes....Shaheen) will become one sided dominating to a lot of characters.

Reddit Community and content creators always in everygame have to much impact on games. I remember when nobody talked about Jins CH 4 in season 2, then TMM said a few things and community and EVEN BAMCO than said ye lets nerf it
Honestly they already nerfed his down 2, and made him do less damage for certain attacks, the way I see it, not only is he a little harder to play than other characters, he’s quite a balanced character in terms of his move set, everything he has , has it’s pros and cons. Beat my first dragunov yesterday that was a kishin, after so many blood sweat and tears i managed to tap into the Jin tech.
Well jin isnt really hard to learn, the only hard thing about is electric. Mained jin then tried other charackters like hwoarang and hes 100 times harder to learn

@@D4CrAnK well for an just above average character like Jin, it is hard, while he has the easiest executions, performing this against die hard legacy players is difficult, even people who are using “meta” characters, and he seems to become quite predictable.
@@D4CrAnK I play all mishimas, I get consistent electrics. Electrics are the first step to learning mishimas, there's way more to them.
Idk bout yall but i feel like jin carried me to tekken king while im struggling getting devil jin and kaz in Bushin. That says a lot

No it doesn't. They're different characters and have different entry points for effectiveness. They have problems, but said problems don't make them that much weaker than Jin
I already know about it or atleast most of it. The advantages he has seem to vanish when you encounter characters with highly plus frame moves eg Bryan Feng etc.
Jin is not OP. And devs are not making Mishima powerful. Not a single Mishima has won the tournament. It's been so many years.

Have you seen the unscaled damge of panda as well as his wall hit? Bloody broken wall hit he has got. And Dragunov, he has not been nerfed at all if we see the bigger picture. Law, he is the one who got nerfed in a real sense though devs didn't need to do that much.
It's just money stealing nothing else. I still can't forget the trauma Akuma brought upon. The most broken character of all time.

That's what samsara is supposed to do actually, it's made to crush highs and lows, and has mid evasion

It "carrying" some Jin players isn't a reason to nerf the move. Every move that goes into zen is completely reliant on it to have mental pressure

Look in the beginning I had to downplay Jin hard, I don't want to see another season 4.5 Jin. I gotta say that most of these Jin's are carried. They suckle of the d2 tit, lol 😂 it's funny seeing Tekken god supreme Jin's with 47 def, 100 atk, and 80 something tech. I noticed early once they improved Jin, you'll see him way more. We crawled in season 3, 4, 4.5, and they are Samsara soaring, DIVU KICKU flying, scourge gliding etc. I'm appreciative of Jin, I just hope they don't nerf him to Tekken 7 status. If I could wish for any nerf, it's to take away ez mode electric.

D2 is you can react it’s not a mix up move so not op can it be nerfed sure but it doesn’t fit the op criteria.

I'm a Jin main and I get what you mean but ff2 being a launcher in heat is extremely strong, f3,1 and df4 are very good too, other than that yes, Omen is trash in the neutral, but it becomes okay at the wall after wall carry. So I think we can all agree that his heat smash should get toned down anyways.
Other than that, I've always felt like the "did *character* win a tournament ?" argument was not valid, Rangchu won with Panda in T7, it doesn't mean the character is good, sometimes the player just played better, especially 4 month into the game we're all still learning
I think you missed the point, when did i said Jin is weak here? I've always said Jin is good, and everytime ppl complain about jin in Tekken 8, Kazuya gets nerfed.
Panda got nerfed after winning a tornament, so yeah that argument is valid.
Nerfing Jin won't solve the issue of the game which is far larger, each character has a juice of its own, that's pretty normal to have, complaining about it at this point it's just nitpicking, he loses all heat when he uses it and he can't use it anymore, that is the trade for his shit omen, which still isn't good at the wall either as you can heat burst out of anything of he tries to mix
Nearly the entire cast has launching demon paws
F3-1 and df4 are strong, but don't replace proper heat mode since they're a 1 time use. Any other character with functional heat can get more damage while also passively gaining more white health back
Omen is ahh everywhere. Even at the wall it tends to whiff of you're even slightly off-axis or if Harda woke up on a wrong leg that day
Yes it is valid. Tournaments and overall results are the only valid evidence we have to judge characters. Everything else is speculation and is inherently biased
D2 is OP it should have the same properties of snake edge on block
