Unreal striker. Back when the Champions League was class and you had so many world class strikers. Miss those days.
His career was weird, he kept going back and forth between Chelsea and Inter... But his run in the Champ League with Milan was amazing, two wonderful goals in the final, too bad Milan weren't able to keep him, him and Shevchenko worked so well together
Just like morata. He kept jumping around between real, juve and atletico
Lies again? Heineken Carlsberg Halal Coordinator
Chelsea also had similar messed up situation with Shevchenko !
Because injuries had messed him up and destroyed his prime before he even went to Inter or Chelsea. Crespo's best years were pre-injuries when he was at Parma and Lazio.
Crespo with shaved head during his Parma days... Now that's a hidden gem 😄
😄😄😄 well said
i was shocked
3:30
5:52 Kaka's assist though. What a pass
Look at 2:00
The best assist I've ever seen in a CL final
@5:55
and a sensational touch from Crespo
Look closely
Crespo is true legend. We miss u, Hernan!
As an argentinian, you have no idea how we miss players like Crespo and Batistuta
Crespo and Batistuta made me root for Argentina from thousands of miles away as a kid. Messi will win it for them as well ! Vamos
I'm also Argentinian and I agree with my compatriot!!! Batistuta and Crespo were in a league of their own!!! These two guys had it all!!! Maradona, Messi, Batistuta and Crespo will go into history as the best forwards in my country's HISTORY!!! That is no small feat considering the players my country has produced!!!
@@carlosdcardona5676 You should talk about Pablo Aimar as well.
@@MrBasu-iq6md Yes, Pablo Aimar and Ariel Ortega were also incredible players!!!
@@carlosdcardona5676 Pará flaco, sos más de River que Enzo Pérez
Right foot, left foot, header... Had it all, brilliant striker
No speed
That second goal against liverpool in the 2005 final = amazing
@Will Stubbs yea great assist. That finish though, one touch dink 20 yards out in a fraction of a second. Dudek didn’t even see it coming. Great movement too to open the space for the pass splitting the defenders like that.
Absolutely loved Herman during his year at Chelsea, was gutted when he left. What a class man and player.
What a great times for Serie A that was. And those strikers duos Inter - Crespo Vieri, Milan - Superpippo Shevchenko, Juve - Del Piero Trezeguet, Roma - Totti Batistuta. I misssed this times
This man is a true legend. Always came on strong !!! Those were the days. One of the best striker I have ever seen.
he was a great finisher, his last hits are always high quality and strong. The years when football was aesthetic! current football 💵
One of my alll time favorite strikers!! Back when there was so many classic number 9’s like Batigol, R9,bam bam zamarano, Salas, vieri , shearer, kilinsman, bierhoff, Raul, morientes & I can keep going I loved all ,crespo was a goal hungry dog classic South American goal poacher, him on Parma & lazio is when I fell in love with him & seeing him link up with vieri at my Inter was a dream, wish he was better in the premier lg
Agree, these perimeter strikers are more adapted to Italy and Spain, where they have a few midfielders who are able to find them with that last high quality pass, rather than the premier league where the striker must trigger the action from lower damn the pitch. The same issue Shevchenko had when he played there as well
I just love his goal against MU on second leg.. what a header 👍👍👍
Favorite Argentinian striker of all time. Deadly finisher, and he did it with FIVE different clubs.
legendary player, few are so good at playing football!
Segnava in qualunque modo possibile.
Damn, so many legends with their first UCL goal in 1997: Crespo, Trezeguet, Henry, Élber, Scholes, Figo and Inzaghi.
Yeah 97 was a great football year
most of those never won the champions league, inzaghi won at the end of his career at 34
@@seanodonnell6947 and scored all the 2 Goals in CL Final 2007 vs Liverpool which Milan won 2:1
@@seanodonnell6947 it wasn't the end of his career he played until his 38 or 39
@@seanodonnell6947 he won in 2003 too
One of the best Argentinian players in all the Time . And his quality proved the value of the Calcio and the Italian football
That is just ridiculous, that for 6,5 years (1995-2002) when Batistuta and Crespo had been playing in national team at the same time they had less than 60 minutes together: against Colombia at the last fixture of eliminatorias 1998 in Buenos Aires in November 1997, in March 1999 at the very first Bielsa encounter with A team in friendly agains the Netherlands in Amsterdam and in June 2000 in Colombia in eliminatorias 2002. Had Passarella and, especially, Bielsa in 2002 hadn’t being so stubborn - Argentina could have achieved more in 1998 and in 2002 world cups. But it’s just amazing that for so many years Argentina had such interchangeable world class #9
That assist from Kaka is just ridiculous.... damn
What a legend!
3:12 ICONICO!🖤💙
Legendary player and legendary coach
One of my favorite players this guy.
What a serial goalscorer
He always knows what to do with the ball and he runs into the spaces at the right time as well. What a finisher, wasn't able to what him play. His memories lives with us❤💙
I remember those two goals against ajax...I was obsessed with that game that I recorded it so I can watch it over and over
Grandissima persona e giocatore ♥️
legend
Excellent striker. The player that you want in your team.
Argentina legand
parma, lazio, inter, chelsea, milan
Amazing striker!
king of finishing
score even in tough position with such power most elegant striker.
2005 will always be the most inexplicable result. That Liverpool side was awful, played awfully for the first half, but somehow managed to beat a godly Milan side. Dudek must've made a deal with the devil beforehand
Actually is a good team with names like Gerrard, Alonso, Carragher, Riise and Luís Garcia. But yes, AC Milan at that time was far better.
@@gabrieldutra3162 2007 they were better
@@drizzydinipe0377 , Milan 2005 > Milan 2007
Liverpool 2007 > Liverpool 2005
But Milan lost in 2005 and Liverpool in 2007. Football is crazy 😅
Liverpool team 2005 was great. They beat Juve and Chelsea in quarter and semifinal. But, in the final, yes they just have 10 minutes. After that, Milan was all out. It was like Bayern vs Chelsea in 2011.
@@akagamishanks3530 no
They were mediocre. Classic tactical Play-off team with like 14 or 17 loses in domestic league and fifth position overall
1:11 Lol, he scored his first Champions League goal for Inter, against Inter.
What an amazing player he was
Argentina had some great Stikers in the 90's.
He was probably at par with Batigol, he terrorised defences for more than a decade while playing in Serie A.
Crespo, Van gol, Trezeguet, Rooy Makaay, Kluivert... Supper Centre Fowards
Crespo has a history with chiesa and amoroso.
Loved watching him
Brilliant player
Crespooooo legendary
When Vieri assist to Crespo is one of the best moment I Saw
Legenda! Grande Hernan Crespo
That cross from SWP though!
Parma Ucl💙🧡😐🥲😓
Next is Roy Makaay?
What a team had Parma !!!!!
HERNAN Crespo has changed enough Italians Teams during his Career
"Playstation 2" great football this time..
Il mio attaccante preferito!!
Crespo, like Del Piero, had some awesome UCL goals.
Next Serhij Rebrov, please!
Legend
at 3:42 is not 11.04.2002. It was 04.11.2003 in Olimpico stadium. Crespo transferred to Chelsea on August 2003.
Proper finisher
That Parma he was playing in was a legendary team.
Among the players were people like: Buffon, Ze Maria, Cannavaro, Thuram, Benarrivo, Sensini, Stanic, D.Baggio, Veron, Chiesa, Asprilla, Crespo and Abel Balbo. And Carlo "Carletto" Ancelotti as coach.
arma letale
touch and goal 👍👍👍
Last very good Striker for Argentina. Tevez and Aguero are on same Kevel, like Crespo and Batistuta 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Part of 3 iconic Italian teams:
Parma - 1997
Lazio- 1999
Milan-2005
You forgot Inter my friend
He wasn't at Lazio in 99 but 00-02
Im a big fan of Inter, and Crespo is one of the champions I always admired even when he played in other teams
best movement as a chelsea striker I've ever seen

He must be the player that has scored under most different teams
If there's a player Who deserved to win the Champions League it's crespo :(
Grew to look more and more like Gabriel Byrne..the guy who played Keaton in The Usual Suspects!..

Ele teve duas passagens, por três times diferentes
Q player
Crespo ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇮🇹
El Polaco is my favorite Argentinian striker of all time!!
top quality player, always had him in my team in PES6 😂
How I wish I could go back to October 1 97
If he stayed at AC milan till 2007 he could’v got his first champions league but he is still one of the best footballers of all time
Crespo skill is mix between Pippo Inzaghi instinct and Trezeguet finishing.. imo
GG
Sang petualang asal Argentina
Still waiting for Kaka’s all UCL goals!
