  • This cardboard bailer sprung a hydraulic leak on the cylinder where the cap was welded on the end of the cylinder tubing. I welded the repair with Hobart 718MC (7018) rods with my Miller Trailblazer 302.

Haha! The two thumbs up made up for the one you missed.😂 I thought we weren't gonna get one for a second there. You got me wanting to go talk to the grocery stores now. I never really thought about it. You have the best looking welds I've ever seen dude.🤘🏻

Pretty slick repair. No leaks….seems like a job well done. If the store owner wants more, he should arrange a very good cleanup of the compactor and the cardboard, and then the site is ready for you to come in and do your work. Keep ‘em comming, CB! The SST looked nice, at least for a while.

The double thumbs up from the super service truck at the end gave me a good laugh. How did you keep a straight face?

Did you drain the hydraulic oil before welding? Id be nervous about a fire or explosion but maybe it's ok? Curious in case i run across hydraulic chambers to weld.

Just removed the hoses and stuck them in a bucket...if you build pressure it could be an issue but not a problem doing some light welding on it if you remove hoses and let the pressure out

Здравствуйте,но сварка гидроцилиндра без разделки не спасёт,его снова довольно быстро разорвёт,там же большое давление

That video was shot weeks ago...it still does not leak
You would cause nothing but problems cutting it...multipass 7018 will hold thousands of psi

It's at the end so that you can view all the content of the video and then if you don't want to know about the T-shirts or Thrive Supplements then you don't need to watch the end.

Some people believe in that stuff. Some people don't. Kinda like the poke for the "cough" a couple years ago. Me, I do my research. I eat meat. Drink milk, and I get my daily sunshine. Oh, and I ignore ads. Vegetables belong in the fields and in hospitals.
