Never thought to get that kind of tone out of a flanger. It's easy to write off some effects as 'cheesy', but they all deserve some experimentation to see if they fit into your style.
Nice! I've been using my old BF 2 as a phaser. Michael Banfield has an inspirational CZcams channel that has gotten me back into pedals and he does excellent pedal demos. Your channel is awesome as well.
Would be good to have an invert feedback polarity switch like on the MXR Flanger Doubler rack unit, like on Eric Johnson High Landrons, its my favourite flanger tone
Serious question…only so much room on my pedal board. I have a nice sounding mini chorus pedal and rarely use it. I also have the EVH Phase 90 phaser. If I added the series 3 flanger, could I remove the chorus without losing a “chorus-like” tone option. I say that because when I dial down the Phase 90, it is almost like a chorus pedal. It’s hard for me to tell the difference between Phasers and Flangers, so I’m wondering if a Flanger dialed down would also give me a slightly different “chorus-like” sound.
