Thanks for your video. I been fussing with it for a little while and didn't know I have to twist it 90 degree. I knew to twist it but I didn't want to break the bulb so I stopped and found your video lol.
Great video, very helpful, first time I've had to replace a tube as before always had traditional bayonet bulbs. Thank you very much for an informative and clear video description.
Couldn't figure out how to replace the T8 bulbs in an old government issue desk lamp I have, and this is just what I needed. Thanks! One of them kept sticking and wasn't sure exactly how they're supposed to come out and didn't want to break the bulbs.
I should have watched this first doh! Hubby took tubes out so I didn't know about twisting them. If you don't twist them, they don't go. Oh well. Now he feels clever for fixing it when I couldn't lol.
In a predicament. My previous light is 32W and I found a new replacement for it. When I put the new lights in, rotated and turned it on, the light worked for the rest of the night and then the next time I tried it wouldn’t turn on. Why won’t it turn on if it worked initially?
Being a electrician as I am forever lady's and gents.that's is a 5ft fluorescent light fitting with a t8 5ft 58w fluorescent tube.with very quick start 58w ballast and the starter built in the ballast.and not using a 4--65--80W fluorescent lamp starter switch via preheats switch starts circuits.and have a good day to all of your company team in general.
I'm trying to find out what the fluorescent tube socket is called not pulling up anything on amazon you'd expect it to come as a matching set. this video calls it, the fitting, or the casing, pulls up nothing either. People just sell the bulbs and expect me to plug it into nothing and sustain it from universe energy?
After trying to twist and realising that wasn't happening, I called my son and he said you push it. Turns out mine was spring loaded. The giveaway was, when looking up at it there was no gap for the pins to come through.
I used shake my head when I'd hear people asking how to change a light bulb. C'mon now. Lol. Until I had one like this die on me recently. Obviously I couldn't figure it out and had to Google it. I twisted it and it still won't come out...Im left in the dark as always 🤣. Didn't want to do that laundry anyway
I do it while it’s on but I am careful not to touch the metal ends of the tubes as they aren’t grounded in most cases. If you don’t feel comfortable, switch off the power. :)
Been messing around for half an hour trying to replace the bulb, nearly gave up.
Found your video, done in 30 seconds!😃👍
Glad it helped!
engineers didnt develop the internet so u could spend half an hour forgetting it exists...
Same! I have an old lamp with these bulbs and didn't want to force anything and break them but wasn't sure exactly how they're supposed to come out.
YOU TWIST IT! OMG, I've been fussing with this thing forever 😆 Thank you!
🤣..same almost happened b4 I thought..'nah, find help'
Lool😂same

Me too :) Now I know how to change my tube light at my house. At first , I didn't know.
Thank you so much. I really needed this video. I had almost given up. But you helped me do it by myself! 💪🏾😁
Easy to understand video and right to the point. Was able to quickly replace the bulb after watching your video. Thank you.

Really helpful video! Thank you.
This has to be one of the best videos i have seen ever. I dont know what i would have done without watching this upload.
Thanks! Did it all by myself and didn't have to ask my brother- in-law for any help!
That's probably one of the most costefficient comercials ever made.
Thx for the guide👍️
Twist!!! Argh thanks video. Saved me so much hassle. Had no idea I needed to twist
Thank you for your help
Thank you so much. Able to fix it within a few short minutes with the instructions given.
Wow! Thank you so much
Thanks. Helped me replace a bulb in my snake enclosure without getting tagged.
And here I've been thinking I'd have to hire someone to do it 😃. Going to buy the bulb now.
Simple and to the point. Thank-you
The music vibe is crazy🎉
Step 0: Make sure the electric breaker is turned off.
Step 0.5: Aquire a stepladder to reach the fluorescent tube.
Oh yeah
Step 0.1 buy a new tube
@Fluorescent Light Collection True! Forgot about that.
Dude I've been changing them with the lights on so I know which are out and when the new one was installed correctly or not you'll be fine
Electric breaker?
It helped me thank you!
Help! Mine is a hanging type with tube casing n plastic grille at the bottom and I don't know how to open it to expose the 4ft fluorescent tube😢

Rotate 90. Got it. That's what I was missing.
Thank you - this was incredibly helpful.

nice video helps alot.
Does it matter if you twist it 90 degrees clockwise or anti clockwise?
My sockets are sideways. Is there any way to fit the tube light in there??
supa!!!! this is what I needed thank yo so much
Thank you !!!!!
Put in holes? Could you be more descriptive on alignment? Thx.
What’s the size of that light?? 4ft

It doesn’t work for me and I broke the casing. 😞
Thanks!!
Thank you mister
I guessed that it would spring sideways like a halogen lamp I had, didn't know you needed to twist them. Very helpful!
How big is that light?is that 4ft
someone called me, asked me how to do this. just checking that you DO rotate it 90 degrees. cool.
Thanks a lot
Watched your video after having trouble. Ended up accidentally breaking off the circuit board on the fixture. Man I suck at DIY
Thank you

in my country we tube lights with no cover
the whole turning the bulb thing doesn’t work for me I give up
What if it goes on and off
Nice
Ok so you only have to insert one end and everything’s fine.......? What happens at the other end?
You put the other end in your mouth and have someone turn the switch on. You'll be seeing lights in no time.
Thankyou
Thanks
“Twist the bulb gently… through, to, three, from…? ninety degrees”?
Test it first before putting the casing back on.
Ok great, thanks, but what if you test it and it DOESN'T work??
Try installing a new starter. If that doesn’t work, change the ballast instead.
I'll try that
Do I really need to see this to replace a light bulb?
I used shake my head when I'd hear people asking how to change a light bulb. C'mon now. Lol.

tube wont rotate
Mine rotates, but not enough. I suspect the contacts got bent.
Did you find a video that covers difficult removals?
Wasted 3 days to call electrician.. Now i did it
Can the electricity be ON when doing it ? Or OFF ?
for safety you should turn off the electrecety of that room you want to change

EZ Clap
Subham
