I made my first twine flower last week.... my husband was just amazed! I painted a plastic planter from DT with paint/baking soda and decorated it with my flowers!
My 10 yr old daughter and I watch you. Very easy, budget friendly craft. We will make this for my front door for Mother's Day. Thank you for such fun crafts.

I water down my acrylic paint and layer it to get the 'stained' look in any color. It's worked well so far for me. Patience is a must for success because you want it to dry between layers.
