- This video is a compilation of several days, but my Camaro has been sitting for weeks after getting this flat tire the day after tuning. I fixed the flat, then my wheel fell off, and now I finally bought a stock wheel and tire to finally take my car out for a drive. Watch me use my magical ways of fixing the car and taking it to Starbucks.

Another amazing video! That little tool you were using to rethread the studs is called a die. A die is used to make eternal threads (male threads), such as bolts and studs. There is another tool called a tap which is used to create internal threads (female threads), such as nuts, inserts or lug nuts used to hold your wheels.

I am a Dodge guy now, but your Camaro is beautifully tuned and sorted so go smoke those tires every now and then and keep the videos coming. Never tire of your attitude and joy.
Kayla: IF your still running on pump gas, pick up some Lucas ethanol fuel treatment (green bottle) and run some next time you gas up. When/if your injectors get dirty/clogged, it will surge. Try it and I bet it will help clear the surge issue.

Great videos! Love the car. Keep in mind that you can get by running different size tires on the front of a rear wheel car (Camaro SS) but not on the back. 😎👍🏻

So I'm old and have a 13 mustang GT and your young and drive Camaro SS and are quite beautiful I might add but the one thing I love that we both have in common is the HUGE smile our cars put on our face when we hear the sound of that v8 yr awesome and so is yr car drive safe but drive fast.
At the least Id get fresh lugs IDK...lol you cracked me when you started driving the Camaro that happened to my buddy and his Chevelle when we got it running again with a solid roller cam engine carb that will rev to 7800 !

Underrated car
Yeah that first drive after not driving for weeks, id be just as excited.
For what it’s worth, studs are like $4 a piece at the dealership. The screenshot you included was for an entire new hub with bearings, hub flange, and the studs which is way overkill. Sucks about the HRE’s getting messed up, they’re awesome!
You can also use a wire brush to wire brush the access of threads.
I hate to tell you Kayla,, that aluminum is from your rim,s,,I think you may need longer wheel lugs "lug nuts",,the rim isn't tight against the rotors. Love your videos your so happy all the time

Not sure if you got those small lift blocks that go under and bolt on the drip rails but you should get a set it would make jacking up a lot easier

FYI, if you want some serious power supercharge your Chevy Camaro with the Whipple 2.9 L Supercharger. Your car will really be a bad ass then and the guys will be jealous! By the way, your cam lobe sounds incredible!
I have 2010 Camaro ss (Ls3). Planning on getting kooks headers. Are they worth the purchase? or should I get other headers. Also how much hp gain after the headers install

What about using the Oem jack that came with the car, I know they suck but most are really small and short .
SS camaro doesn't come with a jack. Or a spare!
Everytime you can lift up entire side of a car, when you place lifter on the front and lift so high (your lifter is able to do that) untill rear wheel will be also in the air

Wire wheel on an electric or cordless drill clean off aluminum then chase threads with threaading die.

I get so many questions about the install... I have very few footage on that install but I could always try to piece it together
Use automatic transmission fluid thread cutting oil or WD40 to lube die metal on metal bad.

It came with the LS3!
Make sure you torque your wheels after 40 miles
FYI... the studs press out of the hubs (and in) if you needed to replace them..... BUT you didn't need to do that..Good work!
This. Studs are replaceable without replacing the whole hub. They even sell ARP ones.. www.summitracing.com/parts/arp-100-7736/year/2013/make/chevrolet/model/camaro
Yes I did my research on this but I would still have to take the entire Hub out to replace the studs. So if I went that far, i'd want to replace it anyways since mine is so rusted. Luckily mine are fine for now, one day i'll replace the entire hubs and studs.

Next time put wood blocks under the back tires. Reverse the car onto the wood blocks! Now your car is higher and there is now room for your floor jack! Info, you should also purchase jack pads from Amazon to install at the jack/weld points because the Chevy Camaro doesn’t have a frame. The jack pads will be fastened to your car and will remain attached to the weld point for you and other mechanics to use for jacks or car lifts! These jack pads will prevent undercarriage damage!

Should have put a wire wheel and put on a drill and clean all the aluminum residue off studs
