I met this guy when I was 11 years old, I was too scared to dance but him and the clowns encouraged me and made me feel better about being shy. He said "aint nothin wrong with just watchin with and dancin on your own", and now i'm a photographer who shoots at birthday parties.

Tommy the clown is Legendary, if u were a kid growing up in L.A, you're at a birthday party, not knowing who he is... prepare your mind to be blown... All I remember was that chevy astro van pulling up blasting some crunk...full of clowns & within like 5 minutes they had the entire street dancing! That energy is unmatched.

Glad I was able to find out about this dude. It seems like he's done some positive things for the community and that sort of good work deserves recognition. Nice to see folks like this getting their flowers while they're alive and well to see it. Wish this snippet was a bit longer though. I get the sense that there's much more behind all of this. I'm sure there's something out there though. I'll keep looking.
