My daughter who is 16 wears makeup and loves playing with “the looks”. We got her boxy charm for her birthday. It’s a monthly subscription box and she can choose things she wants. She has a good little supply of stuff now that she can do lots with. It has been a great little box to keep her birthday going

Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing the creating of this project. I have a Maltese/Shitzu cross doggy who will be 14 years old in January. She looks a lot like the dog on your journal card. They don’t shed which is great for the house and clothing but they do require grooming regularly. I learned how to do it myself so she gets regular haircuts. 💞🤗🇨🇦💕
They are such cute dogs. My dad had 2 (one died of old age, he was a bit grumpy). I llike the fact they they have a type of wool and don't shed. Lucky you

This is so pretty. Happy to join you as you finish it. It's owner will have a beautiful journal to write in. I love the Florentine paper. You have used it as an accent in many peices. It's been perfect in all of them. I absolutely love the little dog tag. It's so prescious. I like all of the ephermia you made for this journal, but that little dog is my faviorite !! I want to make one of these bags. I just had an idea to make one of these for my great granddaughters caddy for her two journals. TFS
Please rearrange those things so that they don't fall on you. You say that they aren't that heavy, but did you know that a falling object's weight triples when it falls. There is potential for you to get hurt seriously. Also to avoid falling objectives may twist a mussel anywhere in our bodies. I fell last year and to avoid falling in my face into a wood framed day bed, I twisted my body and pulled my left shoulder that has only part of one of the rotator tendons.

I wear mascara and tat’s on a good day! I let my granddaughter give me a makeover when she was about11-12. She’d been watching CZcams videos, too. It was hilarious to hear her explain EVERY step and thing she was using. She did a really good job. She also practiced once on her 10 year old brother.

Well it’s still raining in Oregon so your welcome to have some of ours, lol. My girls are good at doing makeup. I wasnt allowed to wear it as a teen so I never learned how to do it properly. They do a great job though, and i feel like even if it doesnt turn out right, now is the time for them to experiment. I cannot go out at 40 with my makeup wrong, but if they do it as teens, i feel like they get a bit more of a pass.
I just put a little mascara, if I need a little eye shadow it's very simple or Lulu does it for me! Thank you so much!

On another note, for makeup these days, I just use a concealer (since I have dark eye circles), mascara and tinted lip balm and skip everything else due to the mask wearing these days.... and that’s only on days I go out! 😅I have quite basic makeup skills 😭 so when I see all these young women on youtube with perfect makeup and all those advanced tutorials, I’m in total awe! The only thing, I can get right is a decent eyeliner and mascara application...apart from that my makeup skills are non existent! But that’s okay, it’s good enough for me! ...lol 😜

With all the mask wearing it's difficult to wear full face make-up as it rubs off and/or smudges. It's all about just doing the eyes for me!
That's true, but I even forget to do the eyes, lol!
I think these young girls using heavy makeup look so unnatural. The time of their life when their skin is lovely....they cover it up. I use makeup for special occasions now. Used to do my face every day for 40 years for work. Now I just let all the lines and blotches show. Marks of a good life. My hair is also natural silver gray.
I agree. I let Lulu wear coverup when her skin was bad but now it's better she doesn't put much on mostly just mascara.
