Alan comes across as a cool cat not terribly full of himself...but what a giant!
    Loved this episode :)

The guy is a legend. I’m really not worthy! ;) But I liked how enthused he was about 4.0 and 5.1. Couldn’t agree more. It’s fun just to place sounds.

Good stuff! Alan is an amazing Cat. It is interesting how people with so much talent and accomplishment often have fairly little to say about how they do it, as if it is just completely natural and second nature, it seems like to them there is nothing to know or explain about it, it just happens. I guess that is how it is when you are great! :)

You threw the take away the hifi idea of older records that if you take that away it's pretty much vocals left. I got your point. It's an interesting progression in production and engineering. He didn't seem to engage on that and it was funny. I thought it was valid to the times. Thanks you for everything you do Andrew!

Hey Andrew, have you tried rubbing catnip on the parts of the cat tree you want them to climb? Thanks for the cat update! Oh and the interview was good too!

Andrew is a great ENG but....BUT..who cares about Metalica, Jay Z, just cuz he worked with them aint make him a great engineer, he is good because he actually knows what he is doing very well...Allan on the other has is a legend!

In case anyone's curios as to how much Glynn John's £5/hr for recording Let it Be translates to in 2021, that's equal to around £71/hr or about $100/hr.
Man, being a recording engineer just doesn't pay like it used to!
