How do you Sabbath if you have work on the weekends and activities during the school week? As a high school student it’s hard to find time off when you’re active at school and you work on the weekends. Does Sabbath have to be the entire day or could it be just a morning or a few hours?

Hey there, great questions! There has been much debate throughout the history of the Church on how we are meant to relate to the Sabbath as Christians living under the New Covenant. The beauty of Christianity is that even when we disagree, we can still be family.
Here are three different perspectives that Christians hold regarding how to relate to Sabbath:
View 1: 3 Reasons Sunday Is Not the Christian Sabbath - www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/sunday-not-christian-sabbath/
View 2: Why Christians Should Be Sabbatarians - www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/christians-sabbatarians/
View 3: Sabbath: An Enduring Principle For the Soul - www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/sabbath-enduring-principle/
Within Switch, we lean towards the third view, seeing Sabbath as an enduring principle, but we absolutely understand and honor the views that other people have come to based on their searching of the Scriptures and prayerfully seeking after God. We would rather disagree and call each other family than assume that everyone who disagrees with us are less intelligent or faithful or whatever word some might use to describe people they disagree with.
      Hope this helps!

@@SwitchYouth ok but doesn’t it say in the 10 commandments and to keep the sabbath day and keep it holy ?

According to the word. Six days shall tho labor and do all thy work and rest on the seventh day which is the sabbath. Do u think there should be a problem knowing which day is the sabbath if its Saturday or Sunday.

Will you expand on your question a little bit? What do you mean when you say, "should there be a problem knowing which day is the sabbath..."?
Are you asking if we think its a problem that not all Christians agree on which day the Sabbath should fall? Or if we think its a problem that the Bible seems to be less clear on this issue? Or something else?

Is the Ten Commandments part of the Mosaic law or is it the commands that Gods wrote so we can know how to love God (Exodus 20:1-11) and to love your neighbor (Exodus 20: 12-17)? What scripture in the New Testament did God change the day of rest? Who changed the day of rest was it God or was it Jesus or was it man?

It was man that changed the Sabbath to Sunday…The Catholic Church…And I love my brother’s and sister’s in the Catholic Church!!

The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. if you are not keeping the 10 commandments it proves your god is not the 1 who issued the 10. BTW Yeshua taught the opposite that Paul taught on the law!
