- In this video I spend a day in Denmark (Copenhagen) and show you what I saw!
🇩🇰 A country known for Lego, Vikings and extremely high prices. Or maybe it is the country that together with Sweden has had the most wars and battles in history, or which founded my hometown of Tallinn in the 13th century? Well in this video I visited the capital city of Copenhagen and filmed my experience to show you what this place is all about as the finale of my three-part Scandinavia series!

And 7:27 yes it is King Harald's car that drove him after his arrival from his royal ship from this place and a few hundred meters to Amalienborg Castle. A brilliant video. You are more Danish than I and we Danes are. But you understandable came from Tallinn, translated as "Danish city". You make us very proud to be Danes. The video looks like the fast clips that goes on in my brain and I think and dream about.
Furthermore, I hope, one day soon again, you and the Baltic countries, Scandinavia, the Nordic countries, and the related countries e.g. The Faroe Islands, Greenland, Hans Island, the North Pole, Vinland, Schleswig-Holstein, Holland, Scotland, Orkney, Shetland, Ireland, Normandy, Saint Thomas, Saint John and Saint Croix will soon again come together and rule as a great Nordic Union of sovereign countries, when Russia will hopefully soon has been defeated.

That day was also the first time that both the Danish and Norweigan navy's 1st ship of the line (in our modern days just royal yachts) were seen together for a very, very, very long time.
The cannon was shot from the old Battery Sixtus. From that Position the sun is "saluted" every sunrise and sunset. In Danish we say: 'Skyde solen op/ned' . Directly translated: Shooting up the sun 😅

Glad you liked the city. Also fun fact. Some of the private boats are actually old rail/car ferrys from DSB when they used to have rail ferryes to. Alot of them got repurposed. The reason you really dont see any of them in service anymore is because of Lillebælt and Storebælt. They connected the islands and therefore there was not really need for a ferry anymore.
My german familiy loves denmark every summer break we go to bornholm for two weeks and this year we went to copenhagen i really like that u mentioned bornholm +1 sub
What about the danish colonys that they sold to usa and uk in after ww1 (atleast one of them) which is now the us and uk virgin islands also they they had the nicobars and stuff also i fort in ghana and india.

Quick note: The word "Scandinavia" does not refer to the geography alone. It refers to the shared geography, history, culture, ethnic and language that Norway, Sweden and Denmark shares with each other. It is called "Scandinavia", because the term was made in Scania (southern tip of Sweden) by Swedish and Danish academics.
Sorry for the long explanation, but someone has to point it out, to dispel the confusion.
0:56 Scandinavia (Latin for; Scanian Sea). Where is Scania? Where is the Scanian Sea? The Scanian sea is split into two(three) parts, known as Øresund/Öresund and Kattegat (Some would argue that Skagerrak is also the Scanian Sea, as it's named after it, hence why Norway is also "Scandinavian") . That should answer your question as to how Denmark is Scandinavian despite not being on the Scandinavian peninsula (Scanian Sea peninsula).
fun fact: a Pole (Eric of Pomerania) changed Denmark's capital to Copenhagen.
Fun fact if you dig around 20 meters into the ground you will find a super high tech city beneath Copenhagen. But remember to do it in the middle of the city 😊

I visited Denmark with my friends for a few days around a week ago and it was a really great time when we actually properly explored the place, especially since it felt somewhat similar to cities from my own country like Glasgow yet it had its own charm.

Easy answer, we ruled norway for centuries, and you cannot talk about Swedish history without our constant feuds.
Well that, and probably how proximity historically, linguistically and ethnically.
Just remember, we have the most important part of brotherhood. A hierarchy of who is to be made fun of, until outsiders get involved. The Nordics are allowed in, if they are here and someone not there is also invovled.
