You forgot to mention that the trailblazer also has a front folding passenger seat, that allows for more depth and cargo space if needed. I think it does great personally

I have the V6 engine, 9 speed tranny and I love it! Power plus! Also gets great gas mileage even at 70 mph. My average is 25 city. Best average is 31mpg. I'm happy.

Dude... If the Blazer had a 6.2L V8... It wouldn't even be street legal... You have to take weight in account as well...
Maybe a 5.3L V8... But even that is pushing it.
Currently leasing an equinox and I’m definitely leasing buying one of these 2 vehicles next BUT I could see my self buying the blazer though if I can get a good deal on it.
They are awesome and I prefer them over the Equinox.
The only thing holding me back on the Blazer is the gas mileage and the color at the local dealer near me is my last choice out of the line up lol. I really like the 2 tone on the Activ model Trailblazers
if you could ever need more space just do yourself a favor and get the blazer!
So how does the trail blazer handle on trails. Are there any trail options on it? Added ground clearance off-road suspension features?
I'd go with a different vehicle for off road personally!

Test drove a trailblazer recently, had a CVT transmission which I don't care for much. Only the top trim gets 9 speed automatic.

negative, if you get a model with AWD you get the 9 speed.
Definitely would pick the Blazer over the Trailblazer, of course appearance wise but I have a 19 Blazer that is AWD and a V6 with 308 horsepower where I would be missing that from the Trailblazer since that comes with a 1.2/1.3L 3 Cylinder. And plus there’s just more room and it has a more sporty look. Also have a 19 Silverado.

I have a 2021 Blaze which I love I didn’t like the fact that the front passenger seat is not automatic to adjust like the driver side is 🤔

Just an FYI - You won’t fit a 4 foot wide sheet (plywood, gyp, etc) in the Blazer. I’ve measured mine. The widest point of the hatch opening is 3’-9 1/4” and that is near the bottom of the opening. Between the wheel wells is only 3’-6 1/2”. Above the wheel wells is wider but you are limited by the hatch opening.

Chevy made a commercial version of the HHR back in the day, this is similar size to that and you'd be surprised how many people don't want a big cargo van because of price and inefficiency, lots of side hustle guys use these smaller vehicles because they are more affordable and better on MPG.

Along with where the engine is "pushed in" which the engine is not simple to operate on when there is a event, where the engine has to be operated on.
Where an SUV's" long nose" is simple to access the engine in the bay, and simple to replace an engine.
A person with an SUV that needs some drywall. I can't imagine that is uncommon. Go to home depot and let us know.

size wise , smallest to larger ,, trax , trailblazer , equinox , blazer . as far as I know .

I actually did an engine swap on my 2021 TrailBlazer. I replaced the Turbocharged 1.3L 3Cylinder for a 3.6L V6 cost about $1900 but that was still cheaper than getting a Blazer straight out.

That 3 cylinder moves pretty good. It feels like a big 4 cylinder or maybe even a v6
Believe it or not, you can't even tell there's a 3C in the TrailBlazer... It goes from 0-60 in 6 seconds... only one Second more than the Blazer.
Why does Chevy need so many suvs ? Trax, TrailBlazer, Equinox, Blazer, Traverse, Tahoe , Suburban

A lot of younger people will buy these pieces of junk. They will love them and will not listen to anyone or any reviews on them. They will drive them like maniacs on the highway and break them down between 30k and 60k and there will be a ton of bad reviews on this vehicle.
Smaller vehicle but still capable enough to be an SUV.

My 2019 Blazer is already at 83,000 miles from travel work 6 days a week... I punch the damn thing over 100 mph every day on the interstate and have since gotten it... It still runs like it's brand new.
