Well 5 years on...and still f@#kin great. Seems they had a steady stash after all. What's your thoughts? Im off to see them in November, and can't wait...this is a band I love live much more than there studio releases. Somehow that voice ain't changed in 5 which I thought it would.
The music is so easy for tommy hands in pocket it’s normal when you need high concentration to have your hands up in front of you,,, he is just doing it so easy. One of the best voices right now.
It's hard to find bands who care more about good music than the visual nowadays, these guys are on the right track, respect, they will burst for sure! I hope someday i'll see them in Brasil!

They just look like every day blokes you pass on the street no frills .They make great music though and i for one would love for them to get bigger .Its about time we had more of this stuff in the charts instead of little plastic people lip syncing .

Lee Mavers goes missing after making one of the greatest ever debut albums of all time with the La’s, then nearly 30 years later a kid comes out of the other side of the world supporting Everton cos of his Liverpudlian dad who’s moved to Australia , and starts making some of the best tunes I’ve heard in what, 30 odd years?!?! Anyone else thinking what I’m thinking??????
Na he’s not mav,he hasnt got a guitar in his hands and only the attempted swagger,but still boss all the same,i think theyre a great band,best of the recent bunch by a longshot,well in boys ,up the sydneysiders

Dont know why but the "sitting in the morning sun" bit always gives me the most nostalgic feeling, it feels a bit like coming home :-)
