How to remove mould & water stains from Seadoo XP 1991 footwell | XP 1991 Series | Ep5

Cleaning mouldy OEM original Seadoo XP 1991 Nylon foot mats and removing water stains. The foot mats are original and I wanted to save them as they have Seadoo embossed in the padding itself...A lot of owners from this time period (90’s), stripped the OEM mats and replaced with aftermarket options, so it’s super rare now in 2022 to find an original example with the OEM foot mats still present. In this episode I tackle cleaning the foot mats, removing the mould and bringing these OEM foot mats back to their formal glory. Plus I get to work on removing the stubborn water stains from water being left in the footwells.

see for the yellowing. you can wet sand with 1000+ grit sand paper then polish comes out real easy. mine had the whole foot well yellowed and sanded out real eazy. gotta try tar remover now see if mine cleans up aswell as yours

Thanks for the suggestion dude, the tricky bit is getting right down into the small gap between the foot matting and the gel coat...hence why the tooth brush worked really well. 100% give the tar remover a go... for £8 a bottle you can't go wrong!.. Thanks for watching 👌😎

At around 17 minutes why is the O in seadoo on the hull missing?

Man, great eyes! so in an earlier video in the series, I removed the O as it had a mark out of it...I managed to just replace the O vs removing the whole decal...
