I must have this! A bit larger than my Moonlence, which has served me okay. Man, I wish my folks would've taken me to places like that as a kid! I had to discover them as an adult.
Also just watched another video on this chair posted by "vino lbt". His chair appears to have a factory bend in the poles on the top part of the chair back. Do you know if marchway changed this? Or which is the current build?
We have four of them. Three purchased a while ago. One just recently. They are all the same. All of the poles are straight. We have seen some of the chair poles get bent when people don't have them fully inserted and then sit in them. So make sure that you insert them completely.
Thanks for the review. I like the easy setup and weight. One critique, if the segment is titled "Best camping chair for the money", why wouldn't you include the price of this item? I realize prices vary depending on when and where you buy it but a ballpark figure would be helpful. Happy and safe camping.
There is a link in the description. Yes, like you said, the price does vary. But even at full price they are a great value. Especially if you like high back. Light weight camp chairs. You can expect to pay around $50.00.
Make sure that the top poles are completely inserted into one another before putting the cover on or the force will break them. Otherwise check with marchway maybe something happened in manufacturing. We have four of them and have had no problems.
Excellent review, just a suggestion from a viewer’s perspective: scenery is great and all, but maybe consider using a different lenses or camera setting instead of a wide angle. It causes severe distortion and effects the visual representation of the size of your item. Thank you for the video!
Good question. We broke one. It was our fault. We didn't have the back poles fully inserted and one bent. It was our error. Our other three have held up well for over a year. They still look new.

2 Questions: --Best guess - is 250lbs. actual capacity or "suggested" capacity? I don't hold you personally accountable :) --Any idea how easy it would be to restring a snapped cord? -- Bonus question - do the feet sink in the ground?
I know the hold 250 lbs. Because ours have held my daughter and me. But I am careful that she does not run and jump to the chair. I really don't have any easy fixes for the internal cord. Sorry. And, yes the legs will push down some on soft ground. But we have used them in sand at the beach and they were still completely usable. Thanks for the comment. Hope you get it figured out.

How upright is it compared to cascade mountain tech and is there much of weight difference?
Not familiar with that chair. But the Marchway does lean back a fair amount which we like.
Do you think the legs settle into lawn easily? (sink in)?
We haven’t had any issue with that even at the beach. However if the ground was really soft it may be an issue.

It will definitely hold him. Each person has their own needs for comfort. These chairs are a great combo of comfort and light weight.

We have used ours for several years. They are great chairs.
