    so true about the "deeply discounted" items - bought a few things on extreme sale from fast fashion places in the past, and every single time i instantly understood why it was reduced so much. either the fabric, fit, or something was always totally off and unwearable. makes me think it's probably cheaper for them to sell it to you for 2 bucks than to dump it themselves.

    Good tips!! I have a terrible time finding shoes that fit!! I will buy a back up pair if I love them!!! The shoes have to be comfortable right out of the box.

      Buying a back up pair is a great idea! Thanks so much for watching!

    Personally, I dont have a problem buying multiples of a particular style or item that I find flattering. That way, when one is in the wash, I have another to fall back on in a different color. If it works for you, then why not?

      Yeah I figured that “tip” would have been the more unpopular one! It just doesn’t work for me personally as I like to have a bit more range but if it works for you then I think that’s awesome!! I appreciate you watching!

      I still have alot of variety in my wardrobe as well!

      I think an addendum to the rule could be something like don't buy multiple of an item you won't wear multiple times every laundry cycle. For me that's a week. I wear multiple camis in a week so if I find one I like in multiple colors may as well buy multiple. I think it's mostly applicable to things that are only worn once before they are washed though.

    100% agree with you. I found that what others think are "must-have items" or closet staples may not be for me. For example, I used to have a white button up because I heard soo many people rave about how simple it is and how it goes with everything but I never wore it and tbh I don’t like button ups on me.

      I generally don’t wear button up shirts either. And the shirt is wrinkled 2 minutes after you put it on!!!

    Honestly I'm so confused by the concept of buying clothes for every event. I have a very small wardrobe of fancy stuff for special occasions. Whenever i get invited to something i get excited to wear my special going out clothes. I see people express this sentiment and the time so i must be in the minority but especially when paired with people saying don't buy whatever thing you really like because you'll never wear it makes no sense. Buy the fancy thing that makes your heart go pitter patter and hold onto it until someone invites you to a wedding and then wear it and be excited.

    Question for women, i am a straight male who wants to dress more feminine, nothing hyper feminine like dresses and skirts, something like oversized womens clothes, mostly tshirts hoodies and sweatshirts, if i was to wear that on daily basis, would you find me less attractive or be uncomfortable around me?

    • @ulrikerutten2744
      @ulrikerutten2744 Před 4 měsíci +7

      I personally think it's nice when men wear more feminine clothing, gives more of a vibe that you actually care about how u present yourself. Definitely not uncomfortable

      I agree, if anything makes you more attractive and not uncomfortable. It will definitely give you a more stylish look.

      I think that style sounds great and very attractive. But, like any personal expression, it will be attractive to some people and not other people. Luckily, IMO, the people who like your clothes will likely be people whose clothes you think are cool as well.

    I’m definitely guilty of buying the same thing in multiple different colours and even sizes. I didn’t regret it with some cropped tshirts that I can wear out and eventually downgrade to gym/home/chores clothes cause they do fit really well. But I regret buying a linen button down shirt in dark blue AND 3 neutral shades. Cause yeah they are great to wear to work in summer, but all the neutral ones look like I’m wearing the same shirt again.

      I agree completely! It definitely depends on the item. Thank you so much for watching!
