- In this video, I do several bloom technique acrylic pours to show you how I make my coasters from tiles. I used some Sakura and This Little Piggy mica powders for these bloom technique acrylic pours. The sparkle and shine of micas can really take you bloom technique acrylic pours to the next level. They add a depth and composition to your artwork and that is why I use them when I am making coasters from tiles.

No. 4 is the Berry best by far, Mr!!
They are ALL BEAUTIFUL
I liked all the coasters 🤩
These are gorgeous
WOW.........
Thank you Kathryn happy holidays!!
I love all of them. Gorgeous👏
I am glad you like them! Thank you!!
Beautiful
They are all fantastic, and amazing colors.
They are all gorgeous but I'm a blue fan😍🥰💙 not fair when you ask which one because I think most of us love all of them😉😀
Aww thank you so much Melinda! I hope your holiday season is going really great!! Merry Christmas
@@JMoPainting Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family 🎄🎁 stay safe and helthy😃
Wow
I can’t choose my favorite! I love them all!
Aww thank you Karen!
Cells are wow beautiful!!
Thank you so much!!
They are all stunning but that blue one at the end is in a league of its own! It reminds me of abalone shell - it would be really cool to see that colour shift purple with a deep teal blue-green (I think I've seen you use a similar "petrol blue" shade before called Tail Feather), a metallic turquoise like Pebeo's iridescent blue-green, a rich gold and a pearl white or silver. I think that would look incredible!
they are all spectacular!!!!!
Thank you Mary-Lou! Sorry I haven't been as active in my comments here recently, life is gtting really hectic in my neck of the woods :) I hope you have a great holiday season!
Love your work,!
All of them are great but, being me, I love the blue one. 😄
Hope your holidays are special!
Thank you Ranae! I love that one too which is strange for me but it’s lovely! You have great holidays too
In a word...amazing!😊👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you so much!
Wow pretty artwork. 😃
Please stay connected. ☺
Have a great day. 😊
They're fabulous! Love them all. Merry Christmas Johnny, enjoy the family time
Thank you Melissa! Merry Christmas to you too!
Love this so much! I love pigment powders and mica. I use primary elements. The most decadent colors are love stuck - wine and roses - and hot cinnamon I believe it’s called oh and Boisenberry. I’ve wanted to try this little piggy tho!! Btw I order a stellar mica set from Amazon by Tech-a-roo and they go beyond mica. They have to have pigment in them as well. I mix them with a tablespoon of Blicks gloss gel medium turning them into acrylic paint of a medium body then alter them for whichever type of pour I am going for. There is one color in particular that blows my mind. It’s called Shiraz like the wine. It’s so captivating!!! Lol I love this video and the colors you used are rich and seductive. I simply LOVE decadent paints!! Great job J!!
Wow, so beautiful, just found you. Subscription added
These are stunning! Do you do any further blowing to the center after you took these off the spinner? I noticed the large black center was smaller with cells when you show them at the end of the video? You are so very talented!!!
Beautiful 🤩Merry Christmas 🎄
Thank you so much!
Omg love love. Question. Where do u get ur spinners from? Any suggestions for a beginner on which to get? Please? U inspire me and do a lot of spins. Ty Soo much
What kind of tile are you using for these? They look amazing!
J MO. Thank you for sharing your tutorials and beautiful artistry.
Question. If I don't use silicone can I use acrylic pour for base coat, can I use house paint for base?
Yes you can! try to make sure that your acrylic aint is the same consistency as your house paint to avoid cracking :)
Beautiful!!
How long do you wait before resining them? Same as a canvas?
I love your work so much it’s very beautiful. Do you mind me asking what you used to create the cells I have tried three different solutions, and none of them worked.
Blue one
Do you just add pigment powders to a white base pouring medium? Like using black diamond pigments?
what do you use for cells? and sealing?
These are gorgeous. What do you use to adhere the tiles to the spinner?
Thanks! Just a loop of painters tape
So beautiful! What do you mix with your Amsterdam black to create your CA? 😍
I made a short recipe that details everything in 3 minutes here - czcams.com/video/_WgPqZC4NnI/video.html
Thank you for sharing! ♡
are these on glossy or unfinished ceramic tiles?
How do you make paint out of mica powder?
Gorgeous tiles Johnny!! ❤🎨🖌 Which video has the recipe you used here? Thanks!! Happy Holidays
Thanks Doris the recipe for these is here - czcams.com/video/_WgPqZC4NnI/video.html
Hello, do you add anything to your black cell activator?
Just the recipe that is in this video - czcams.com/video/_WgPqZC4NnI/video.html
Do you use American floetrol and the oxide black for you cell activator? I can’t get cells with this mixture.
Yes I use American Floetrol and oxide black for my CA in this video. My recipe video goes into more depth but I also add minwax wood conditioner to my CA so it acts more like the australian floetrol. Recipe video is here - czcams.com/video/_WgPqZC4NnI/video.html
@@JMoPainting Tried it a failed a few times.
Sometimes it is the cell activator too thin or thick. Also the temperature has been making mine terrible too so I’ve had to move into the house since it’s warmer in there
how to you get those cells?
Hi. I am in Australia and would love to do this art. Would you be able to give me a list of what I can buy from here please. We get Monte mart acrylic paints here. Thank you
J, they all look awesome. But I like the blue ones cuz red is not a color I use often. I should make a palette of reds and pinks with a little blue to make purple. Yesterday I followed your recipe to a T but did not achieve the results you have. I don't quite understand why. I also had my paint break up and made some deterioration of the paint. I think you had a similar problem a few videos back. Did you figure it out? Guess I will keep trying for a little longer, then I'll have to take a break from it. Might just add water like some other artists to see what happens. Stay safe and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Thank you very much, I want ot help you solve this. Send some photos to my email and we can hash it out probably. JMoPainting@yahoo.com I will be sure to get back with you and offer any assistance I can.
@@JMoPainting Thank you so much. I'll work on it today. 👍
@@JMoPainting J, tried to email you from what you sent me and it didn't go. I tried twice. One on my Yahoo account and one on my gmail account. I'll try again tomorrow. Peace.
I can't find these colors from Sakura. Any suggestions?
Right here I forgot to aadd the link - amzn.to/2JZNb9X
@@JMoPainting Thank you, your work is the best I've seen
Thank you so much!
I frequently watch videos with closed captioning on so as not to bother those around me. It captioned you as saying good morning my paint boring friends. Lol I have a question. Why does everyone seem to drizzle circles to layer the paint colors? Or is that a Shelleeart Bloom secret?
Haha! Well I definitely didn’t say boring ;) I have always done it that way and it’s worked I know others just spray it everywhere and it works that way too. Just preference of the user I guess. Happy holidays!!
The blue one looks just like an oil spill from under a car....
