Dr Mike , it is not clear what selects the one egg out of the 20. In one video, it was explained that the lowering of FSH by estrogen after the first few days selects the egg with the most FSH receptors and the rest goes into atresia. I am not sure if that is what you are saying or saying something else. Do you mind clarifying?

Hey, nursing student here. Their growth is influenced by ovarian hormones, and they are common in woman taking OC. They spontaneously shrink after menopause. GnRH agonists can shrink fibroids, and other hormones can be prescribed to shrink fibroids.
