    "But 8f you ignore all that" !!! Come on Ryan mate.
    Is his relationship with fans, board, players, etc not all part of being the boss ?
    Best pod in Europe btw 😊

    Sunderland fan here. The football under Beale was significantly worse than under Mowbray. It was slow, pedestrian, and Beale himself was a totally reactive manager who didn’t seem to have a plan B. He’s NOT a good manager. The lad in the cap should have him take over his club and see for himself!
    There’s also lots of chatter about how much the players disliked him. He’d make them train after a loss while he took the day off, for example. Hardly inspiring.

    Is Ryan on Beale's payroll? Spoke like he was his PR manager. What more do you need to see from Beale to tell you he isnt a good manager

    We all expect Clarke to leave, but that's also gives us 20m+ to spend on our squad overall

    Sunderland is holding their hands up and saying they blew it. Not making a scapegoat of Beale. He wasn’t the right manager and they’re accepting that. Saying there is not enough evidence he is a bad manager is bullocks though, he’ll have to grind his way out of a lower/farmers league team before he ever gets a job for a top club like Rangers or Sunderland though. Glad he’s out but hope he finds work soon. Ha’way the lads

    Beale is a terrible manager how ryan thinks different shows his knowledge of football 😂

      Ryan tried to make his case as to why Beale might not be a bad manager and then immediately listed the main reasons why he is one. I can only conclude that by bad manager he means only tactical awareness. We all disagree with Ryan because we know that everything else is crucial to being a good manager too.

    Ryan "gaslight" Dilks. How is everything he says the gospel but the other bloke disagrees with him slightly and is "talking nonsense". That Beale is a plum plain and simple.

      Yeah that was poor from Ryan. Argument wasn't very constructive

    Neil Warnock said football management is 95% man management and charisma. So let's be honest, Beale has already failed big time on that assessment. He doesn't come across well at all.

      Not sure why the host took such a dismissive attitude to the other lad. He might disagree but it came across hugely petulant.

    I feel like these two are forcing an argument by taking opposite sides on purpose ones an arse licker and the other ones saying he couldn't make a cup of tea. Surely these aren't their true positions.
    Micheal beale has been poor since he left QPR but that doesn't mean he can't be a good manager somewhere else. It obviously worked at QPR maybe time for him to go to a successful league 1 side.

    There is a recent interview on the EFL podcast with Mark Robins about clubs hiring and firing managers and he hit the nail on the head saying the first priority for a club is to know what they want to achieve in the present and the long term and to find a person that fits those unique goals for that club but the vast majority of clubs have no clue what they want to achieve and have no plan so therefore they have a revolving door of hiring the wrong people for the role.

    • @MrMmnngghh
      @MrMmnngghh Před 6 měsíci

      That goes a fair way to explaining why Robins has succeeded at Coventry

    • @RealmsOfThePossibile
      @RealmsOfThePossibile Před 6 měsíci

      @@MrMmnngghh His theory does also explain why you may get a manager with an excellent record at one or more clubs absolutely fail at another, they are incompatible with the club and the way it is structured.
