We know that 2020 has been terribly difficult for so many. We were devastated to hear that an estimated 18 million children throughout the United States alone are facing hunger this year. When we learned about the drastic need for food donations in our community, we quickly organized a food drive with every hope and desire that the selfless and giving hearts of our people would help make this effort successful. We were overjoyed by the incredibly positive response to the call for help - a constant flow of food donations poured in, while others donated funds to the Utah Food Bank! It was nothing short of a miracle, and truly embodied the Christmas spirit of âPeace on Earth, good will to men.â We hope this is a good reminder to us all that there is great need everywhere, and that there is almost always something we can do to lift the heavy hearts and burdens of others. â€ïž

You & your family are Truly Blessings to your Community! I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face as I watch this. I am a recipient of the food bank & never thought that I would be but after an accident & leaving me disabled, I closed down my business & took care of my dad after his massive stroke shutting down his as well! I downsized & moved way out to the country. I thought it would only be a short time but 20yrs later I'm still here bc my health caused me to stay & a few years ago I experienced such hunger I couldn't sleep & turned to food ppl were throwing out. A friend saw me & told me about the food bank which became my lifesaver at 70yrs old. It is definitely đ showing ppl what difference a family can make to help!! This year has been a challenge for so many including loosing family to this virus. I am sharing this with others đ so you can be the inspiration for others regardless of where we live! I have had friends that I graduated with 50yrs ago that have surprised me with help & I call them my Earth Angels đ!! I now đ add you to my book đ of Earth Angels đ! One small act of kindness can make a big impact
WOOOOOOWEEEEE!!! Here in NYC we do our best to salvage all the wasted food from Restaurants and Super Markets. We have City Harvest etc...horrible how much is wasted!!!! đ« One time I lugged 25lbs of leftover bagels (which are discarded EVERY DAY!) on the subway to my Church. They loved 'em! You are a very special family - full of humility, goodness, sincerity & kindness. This is such a beautiful song. As a kid I always hated it because of the line "and in despair I vowed my head, 'there is no peace on earth' I said, 'for hate is strong and mocks the song of peace on earth good will to men.'" It wasn't until about 3 years ago that I really listened to the whole song and it changed my entire attitude. "Then pealed the bells more loud and deep, 'God is not dead nor doth he sleep, the wrong shall fail, the right prevail with peace on earth good will to men.'" That line was so powerful to me because it really feels like God has left us sometimes but the bells will always cry out to remind you that God LIVES and he fights for the good to succeed. Mat and Savanna, thank you for being the bells that remind me that God is not dead, nor doth he sleep.
