- Yes!! Fkirons have fixed the battery life issue.
In a new firmware update Fkirons have resolved the issue with battery life draining on their devices. Watch for more info.

If you get code 106, don’t worry. Contact FK and they will arrange for a manual update.
They tell me to send the machine to Fk ( usa ) So...yeah haha. Not good for everyone this last update, a lot of " code 106 " cases
I had the same problem, sent my battery’s off and had it back within a couple of weeks. Shipped from uk to USA and back.
They have said a small % of people will have that error code.

Hello just a simple question what volts would you say is ideal for working with the flux and the exo 3.2
That’s down to personal preference. Start at the lower voltage and work your way up until you are comfortable.
Considering buying the fk irons exo with batteries is it a good idea .. I currently have a sol nova but really not sure if I like it will I b wasting money?

I love my exo, but I distanced myself from Cheyenne since they started being proprietary without a choice so I can't compare since I ran a Thunder. The 3.2 is impressively well rounded and I'm finding less strain on my hands and wrists with the larger grip. Worse case you don't like it, you won't have a hard time finding a buyer for it.
Do you think they will ever offer the RCA attachment on their website or is that one of those you have to know somebody to get your hands one one of those?
I think I’m time they will. Its just a case of manufacturing them which takes time.
Anyone have a airbolt and had problems with them draining fast when connected to bluetooth wanna pull the trigger
Hey Chris. i Update my 2 lightning bolt and 2 power bolts , but still all 4 of them draining while not using . First i thought maybe because of the bluetooth was still on and tried once more after switch the bluetooth of ,but still nothing changed.
Maybe worth getting in touch with FK.

My flux battery is stuck with a blue light on I did a firmware update on the app and done a reset and it’s still stuck on solid blue light it won’t work at all

I’d give FK an email and find out if they have info about that. From what I’ve seen online people who have this issue are leaving the batteries drain fully then it seems to sort out the problem.

I’ve not had that happen, but I’d suggest contacting FK customer support.
One of my 3 gives a code 106 there’s a manual fix somewhere bit i can find it.
Also no reaction from fki or a update about the error 🥴

Email fkirons, they have to do a manual update. From what I remember it says error 106 contact customer service, or something like that

Hi all, i updated my powerbolt to newest firmware ( v73 i think ) , however when i try and put it in travel mode ( hold the power button until the red light flashes red ) i cant get into red flashing mode. Mine just cycles through various colours when i hold tehe power button but never flashed red, if i wait until i get a red light ( not flashing ) i think that forces travel mode but it definitely doesn't flash as per instructions. . Any clues peeps? Have things changed and the instructions not updated? Does the power still drain if not in travel mode as thats a bit of a pain. cheers all

@@ThatTattooShow Ist o.k. i Think ive worked it out , travel mode doesnt flash like it states in the instructions, its just solid red, thats not confusing at all lol. . I found an FKirons video showing the travel mode . Thanks for replying though.
i love my flux.... when it works. i definitly wouldnt buy another one with all the headaches i have experienced.

Sorry and not to spoil your enthusiasm but transparency should be #1 principle in any bussiness. The firmware is NOT the only issue with the Powerbolt, now there is one they called "blue light" which also makes the unit inoperative and according to their Engineering (I have contacts in FKIrons down in Miami) is related to a defective microchip of the circuit board. For more tech info I'd suggest to contact customer service
Hi Joe, this video was made a good while ago but since then we have had issues with the power bolts such as the firmware update causing the battery’s to need to be sent away, which we have discussed in other videos. We also have contacts in FK but this comment is the first I’ve heard of the blue light issue. I’ll get in touch to see if I can find out more info about it.

honestly im gonna hold off on updating just in case other peoples batteries start blowing up or something lol.
Are you having the battery life issues if not then don’t worry about updating. If you are and you update. The worst that will happen is it won’t let you update and you will be in the same position you were prior to the update. The other option is sending it off to FK so they can do a manual firmware update and you just won’t have the battery for couple of weeks. Once they update it the battery life is fine.
@@ThatTattooShow i did notice the batteries would loose charge faster after the update, but it was never really a big deal for me because i usually charge them before work anyway. i just wanted to wait to make sure the new update dosent make it worse.
This updates it's a major headache's. The flux is my main and only machine and I have to send this guy's the body and the powerbolt so for " a couple of weeks " I don't be able to tattoo at all :(
if its not a big deal for you with the battery, then I wouldn't worry about the update. I did it so I can let people know my experience incase something came up. like this code 106, I sent the batteries off and got them back in a couple of weeks and all is good. had to use a different battery while I was waiting but it wasn't that bad.

Yeah, Fk it's just a huge hype and publicity campaign. Their machines are good but not THAT GOOD, get a wand! I'm selling my Fk Flux, for $750 if someone is interested btw.
I payed just over £1100, and the fact I have to send it back at extra cost for shipping etc is a joke!
They answered a email I wrote saying that PROBABLY a new powerbolt fix the problem. WTF! haha so basically what they say is " if you want to fix the machine for yourself you need to spend another lot of money in a new powerbolt " or send it over and pay us a lot of money for the shipping
Personally I wouldn't go for the Bishop wand. I've recently given my Flux to my apprentice cause I'm sick of him pulling all his shit off my station every 5 minutes! Its a far bigger benefit to him than me. I've gone for a SwashDrive Brush + a couple of my old Cheyenne machines as my setup. £467 (delivered) from Australia. By far the best machines out there (IMO) and very affordable. No BS, No hype. Just a good solid machine built to last. That'll do me. p
@@ThatTattooShow i have a question, lately i'm in the process to build my machine and for calibrating i see they use RPM and CPS. This can be translate at "stroke" of the machines? and if i correct, how can you compare or translate this to stroke?( rpm or cps ) how can i read it. can you recommend me a good explanation video or something to read...? thank you so much, man.

From what I’ve seen, a lot of the changes I mentioned in my 1 year later video have been made. Longer thread so it shouldn’t feel like it’s going to wobble off, digital read out, ability to actually turn off the battery. They mentioned in the live video that the cam system has been changed so I’d be interested to see what’s different.
