      @@expressautotransmissiondav4207 hello Mr. Lee I just watched your video I loved it loved it quite a bit these are all the upgrades that everyone is talking about here on CZcams not everybody talks about all of them at the same time they give you bits and pieces and it’s so frustrating because nobody gives you everything in one package just like you did. But I do have a big big request is there anyway you can give us a list of every single item for the upgrade part number and where we can purchase it that would be so ideal you would make my day. I have to tell you a funny story I own six Chevy avalanches from 2002 all the way to 2006 with all of them except for one have the clad but I’ve noticed each one of them is starting to have transmission issues and that’s why I need all these parts I’m gonna get a transmission from the junkyard from an old Chevy avalanche and rebuild it with all the upgrades and then rotate them as I go along except for the two 4 x 4‘s that I have those are going to be somewhat difficult from what I hear. Mr. Lee once again thank you so very much I’m just hoping you would send me a list of the parts the names and where we can buy them I wanna say thank you once again God bless you and I pray to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to give you lots of love peace prosperity and protection in today’s times for your family and friends take care my brother one day we will meet if not on earth but in our new home in Heaven thank you. ✝️✝️✝️. Oh by the way Yeehaw I’m from Texas 🤠

    So what do you think about blocking the pwm off in the valve body? Have you ever seen precision transmission youtube channel?

    Hey man I rebuilt my 94 4l60e almost a year ago on my camaro and was working great no leaks (my first transmission rebuild ever) I only had like 500 miles on it, I only use the car some weekends. Thing is a couple weeks ago I went on a 40 mile trip and the transmission cooler failed, huge leak I dont know at what point in the trip it happened but when I got home it was shifting weird and had very slow reverse, very low on fluod. I replaced the cooler and refilling I accidentally overfilled the transmission but didn't notice it. Then I went to a test drive for like 6-8 miles and the transmission was working good just a bit harsh on the 1-2 shift but felt back to normal. I noticed the fluid level and took some fluid out to get it to the correct level. Thing is now it has a leak which seems to be from the pump seal, do you guys think that the low fluid due to the cooler leak caused the torque converter to overheat and damaged the seal? I don't really know cause I need to take the converter cover out to really see what's happening but the fluid it's coming from that area for sure and I think it's the only place it can leak but I might be wrong

    Also, what about TCC? I know that is a valve body topic, but do you generally block them, or re-ream them back to factory function?

    • @expressautotransmissiondav4207
      @expressautotransmissiondav4207  Před 3 lety +1

      For stock type I like to vac test the bore and use the sonnax system or the transgo system all depends on what I have to start working with.

      I personally prefer the standard band in mine. If I'm building a unit that is higher horse I'll use the wide band otherwise I don't.

    How can I prevent a 3-4 clutch failure

    • @expressautotransmissiondav4207
      @expressautotransmissiondav4207  Před 3 lety +4

      As much as I love this question it's a very very broad spectrum question. With that being said the best way to prevent 3-4 clutch failure is the quality of your rebuild. There are a ton of areas that can cause failure. Attention to detail during rebuilding is key. I'm very particular in vacuum testing leak areas setting end clearance maintaining tolerance in the clutch as well as cure cross leaks where they exist. In my rebuilding videos on the shelf build 4l60 I go over the problem areas that we see that cause failure. The best thing I can recommend is it's never a bad idea to get information. Check out the videos and let me know if there's more details about anything that can help.
