  • Spending a day in my town garden weeding my potatoes in sacks.
Food is difficult to buy in town so I try to grow my own food and look after birds.
A few months ago I started growing potatoes and ground nuts in my small town garden and I couldn't be more excited.
So today we are weeding and taking a tour of my small garden. it has banana plantations, cassava, ground nuts, tomatoes and many other things.
please like and comment on how best I can improve on this garden.

I'm not Ugandan, but your videos make me want to move to Uganda, build a house and live a simple peaceful life there.

On the small plastic planters put the holes in the sides,,
    One inch from the bottom.
We need some water to be reserved when you water.
Not all to be wasted via the bottom holes..
Learnt from a fellow container gardener.

Your garden is looking good. You can prune the tomato plants, cut out the dead branches. Make a solution with water, baking soda, add liquid dish detergent, use to spray your vegetable plants, especially the tomatoes, spray in the evenings, making sure u also get under part of the leaves..
You have a vegetable garden, not a plantation.

I inherited a house in Barbados but I live in NYC. Last Sunday I returned from visiting Barbados. While I was home I got the surrounding of the house clean and I could see where I can plant food and herbs for cooking. Watching your videos help me how you can start with little and increase slowly to accomplished your desire.

Well done, organic foods are healthier. May the good Lord continue to make a way for you because you are working hard in an honest way. Take care, and God bless. I'm watching from Yorkshire in North England.

Next time avoid those bags that get spoilt for Irish gardening but rather use wood boxes that u need to put down grasses to absorb soil fertility and improve on maintaining water 💦 supply in ur plants to avoid soil drying away

Your garden is coming on very well. Some of the seeds you are planting look like marigolds and calendula. You can eat the pumpkin leaves as greens if they are not producing pumpkins for you. Keep doing your thing, my dear.

Lynn do you know those wall creepers that can grow on a wall fence making it green and beautiful? It can be trimmed and maintained…. I plan to do that with at least one side of my wall fence. I think it can save on plastering etc but give it a go, have your perimeter wall covered in a green growing fence if you can, only if you like the idea ofcourse ❤
