- Power Book 2 Ghost Season 4 Episode 1 was certainly an explosive opener, although I don't expect every Power episode to be like episode 1, I do expect them to continue to set the foundation, provide twists and turns at every single opportunity starting with Power Ghost Season 4 Episode 2. In this breakdown, I run through everything we need to know in regards to episode 2 titled 'To Thine Own Self'. I run through Tariq St Patrick and Brayden struggling, The Tejada's secrets, Noma and her operation and how Detective Carter will be laying down a law, as well as how I believe 2-Bit could be returning due to Tariq getting his Porsche back which was seen in the teaser for Power Book 2 Ghost Season 2 Episode 2's trailer.

Going back to school was the best play because Right now it’s Tariq’s best base of operations, she would be considered a hero because he’s the one who shot the school shooter, it keeps up appearances, and it keeps his enemies close so that he can at least know where they are and what they’re doing. Also, tariq said his trust fund is gone but ppl forget about stern. Stern still wants Tech to finish school because Tari had more in his inheritance than just the millions there’s also the clubs and everything else his dad set up before he passed going back to school was a smart play

I’d guess they could be talking about Self-Identity, authenticity and moral integrity in reference to the works of Shakespeare and others. Using works like Hamlet and The Odyssey by Homer
Or maybe even The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri if they don’t want to over use Shakespeare or what not.
For example, in Hamlet Shakespeare dives into the importance of being true to oneself
The Odyssey is about Odysseus’s journey of self discovery
And The Divine Comedy
Is about Dante’s quest to understand his own soul.

It's going to be a game of cat and mouse between Carter/Paz and Tariq/Tasha... with Noma,Monet,Davis and Cane in middle possibly shifting alliances
I feel like all this shit is setting up for a battle between Brayden and tariq, to mirror og powers feud between ghost and Tommy in the last season. I remember Tommy saying in season 6 ep 10, before they get shot by Rashid Tates men, “so you get everything u want, and I get nothing, NOTHING” and pulls a gun on him. Tommy felt like ghost had used him to get where he ultimately wanted to be: legit power through lt governor. Brayden has similarly lost everything, for Tariq. And if Tariq ends up going legit all the way and wants out the game once he’s eliminated noma and the tejadas, Brayden could do the same shit, as now all he has is the game. Brayden has been kicked out of school and disinherited.
Elle will definitely complicate Brayden life even more this season

The writing in this show is really weird man. They keep killing off really interesting characters that can develop the story further but allowing the annoying and boring characters to live. Effie is literally the most annoying character in the series. She's been the same character since original power manipulative and toxic, there's literally nothing redeeming about her.

@@chaosv1123 I remember having a similar convo with a friend back in 2021 when Riq had the trio. I told him Lauren was the best for him out the 3 and he kept insisting it was Effie, fast forward to now and I was right, the chick brings him trouble ALWAYS.
Lauren had her flaws but the one thing she NEVER did was betray Riq unlike the other two.

Making her and Salim get busy also made stuff mad confusing. The thing that annoyed me the most about Diana was the fact that she let tariq hit, then manipulated him into killing her mum. There's no way she would've ever been cool with that.
