Beautiful bike Kenny. With an awesome paint job. A rare one indeed.

LUV THOSE UNSILENCED EXPANSION CHAMBERS, REMEMBER THE LATE 60's early 70's Bultacos with unsilenced down pipes.... 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I may be wrong but it seems to me that bike would have brought more money as an Enduro rather the a striped down one that still has no kit on it

Unfortunately, despite the nice paint job and a GYT pipe, that's a far cry from an AT-1MX. Back before "Motocross" was a household word, they were best suited for scrambles, TT and short track. Great little bikes, save the pipe and tank and find a CT-1 donor to convert.

Great Job mate But why you would destroy such a beautiful original bike is beyond me.

The problem with those was it would not run with a dead battery.

My first bike was this exact one. It had been painted red.
I put lights on it. Put a kilometre
on that. Not a speedometer .
I made it streetlegal. It was so
loud. Even with a bassani baffle. One I had to take with
me when I parked it. No real
guts on the road although. I
    sold it and got a 1972 DT2. 250
For me better. I did not have
to mix fuel on the 1972. More
    guts and less complaints about
    noise. I had a 1970 DT1 360 as
    well. Liked the 250 better.
    🤔💭🤷🏻‍♂️✌️
