Curios combination. I haven't read a single Archer Book but I'll read every Conwell book I can find. I will try one one day.

I’ve always been aware of these two (more Bernard cause my man loves his books) plus I’ve started reading them. What these two both have is a great gift of just plunging into the story they are telling you & getting you lost in it. They both make you care about their characters & aren’t afraid of showing their faults but so that you understand it. Great listen here.

Well Cathleen turner's story, and other people's work in the case of Archer. Lol. Love Bernard though.

This is fascinating - Cornwell seems to have lost a little of his sparkle but Archer is still a very sharp (no pun) cookie.

Interesting how Jeffery Archer speaks in very obvious stories while Bernard Cornwell's come across as funny anecdotes

Archer is a hack. He's practised some interesting speech. Well, interesting-ish. Cornwell is a genius.

Mr Cornwell is my favorite author these days. I've read almost all of his books. Minus the last 8 or so Sharp novels and I'm finishing up his last series(the Nate Starbuck Civil War series).
I loved what they did on tv with The Last Kingdom but what they did to the Winter King/Arthur series is bleh. And I'm not even talking about them making Merlin an African guy. It's just so bleh. Nothing like The Last Kingdom or the Sharp video/tv series with Sean Bean.
Even his non fiction is great.

Ahhh one of greatest liars with one of the greatest story tellers. Jeffrey is a detestable person a compulsive and proven liar. Who lied about his military career (I'm an ex serviceman) And Bernard who is just a wonderful person.

Which English writer is Jeffrey Archer talking about here? A writer who "can't finish his books"? 37:36

It has to be Ken Follett.

WHY did Cornwell get involved with this interview? Terrible decision.

“Sold more copy’s than the Bible!” Wow. How sad she said that so happpily and as if that’d be a good thing. Not only sad, but also not true. Nothing outsells Gods word.
