Yunho was in a dance academy before being a trainee that's where he met Mingi, he also was a stundent in SOPA and if I remember correctly he majored in music that's where he learned about singing and playing instruments as far as I know he can play the guitar and piano, that man is incredibly talented. When Hongjoong met him for the first time he wanted all the new trainees of the company to be at Yunho's level
It’s the best one in my opinion just the dance style matches everything in my soul it’s so good and even down to the outfits and song choices! It’s a perfect performance in my eyes at least hehehee! :)

As someone who saw them live last Saturday, I can 100% confirm their energy in real life. They were so attentive and present in the moment. Yunho is also now a problem and Cyberpunk live was death, ok bye-
18:16 it was confusing at that time but Junyoung was not really an extra member but a new KQ trainee! Since ateez was already in LA training KQ managers though it was a good idea for him to train with them and that's why he joins the trip later. At the end of the training he was included in the song "From" they made that time and wrote his own rap! He left KQ some years ago unfortunately.
Everyone who wants to get into Ateez needs to watch their performance videos because many new fans keep forgetting that Jongho is an all-rounder. When it comes to dancing he gives it his all, just like he does with singing, there is nothing this man can't do!
Main takeaways from these videos for me: 1. Jongho is main slayer material, he's a true dancer, and we NEED him in more dance features. 2. Yunho being main dancer was an impeccable choice by KQ. He is my main bias and i LOVE watching him move and listening to him sing. You're right! We don't,.as a fandom, praise his vocals enough. I could only dare to dream to have as much work ethic and gumption as all of these guys have.
Pretty sure Jongho literally killed everyone in that performance 😩🫠 and yes! Yunho went to a performing arts school and had experience in dancing which is why he does the really cool technical dancing :)
Let me tell you, experiencing these in real time was something else. Shoutout to YT's algorithm for suggesting their first performance video lol. So happy I've been able to follow them since pre debut. I knew from the first video..I literally said "oh let me keep an eye on them because they're gonna be a force to be reckoned with"
This was so wild to watch for me, both surprising bc they were that good even before debut and totally expected bc I knew ateez were always perfectionists. Mingi was actually the one that unexpectedly stood out for me here, but likely due to me only just discovering him since I found ateez very roundaboutly thru their Kingdom performances which Mingi was on hiatus during. He's got this swagger and looseness that really suits these songs. Also, as a lover of deep voices I was more than thrilled when I listened to their albums and discovered the 8th member I'd missed out on was an actual beast of a rapper.
Haven't been able to check out a video in a while but that new intro is great! And I always have time to revist KQ fellaz. 😉👌 It also still amazes me that people claim Jongho isn't as good of a dancer, as if he wasn't center for parts in each of these performance videos, dancing his whole ass off. Like yes, he has to restrain some dancing now to be able to focus on vocals but when it isn't his part...ya'll haters just aren't paying close enough attention.

ATEEZ went to LA for some more dance training before debut and filmed a series called KQ FELLAZ while there (with the MV for FROM as their finale); Junyoung was the ninth trainee with them for training purposes but was not intended to debut with ATEEZ just yet. Fun fact! ATEEZ originally was meant to have a more refreshing and youthful concept but when they returned from LA rolling their eyes and sticking out their tongues (performance-wise) they changed it to a more intense concept 😂 Would absolutely love to see your reactions to Utopia MV and more live stages, and I think you'd really love their variety shows too!

I think people often forget how good jongho is at dancing. Ateez is called a performance group for a reason. It's just that Jongho has to hold back on choreo since he needs to safe energy for his vocals
No for real though, Jongho was already a bias but then when I saw these performance videos he became an ULT XD, he is such a good dancer and ATEEZ members have even said Jongho does this kind of hiphop LA style dances very well.
There is a predebut series that actually follows the kiddos (plus one extra trainee who didn't end up debuting) to LA where they trained. The before and after transformation from that trip to their skills really shone I think. I remember seeing all these videos predebut and man I still am not sure if I know WHY these were so impactful for me but I was IMMEDIATELY sold.
I was literally STRUGGLING watching these videos as a baby atiny hahahaha... you know I had to watch the first one at least 9 times also YEESSSS we need more of this Jongho... we are being robbed 🥲
yeah they (and KQ Fellaz 2) both trained in Los Angeles for 1 month prior to debut and both groups under KQ have reality show episodes documenting it all! the ATEEZ members looked soo little at the time 🥲 love that KQ does this though bc it really polishes them all to become dance masters prior to debut. like ATEEZ doing all this pre-debut?! then xikers are already soo good too. it makes a difference.
