Olympic figure skating is skill, athleticism, and artistry at it its highest pinnacle. Obviously, "Kings on Ice" is circus-entertaining and not something most people can do.
I will always remember his excellence, expression, appearance on the ice. He is one of the greatest and makes ice skating lookes so easy and joyfull. ♥️ Maybe his son will continue the Plushenko succes.
his son was already not bad even here on stage, with his father. And yes, the small one trains hard. Anyhow, there is something a bit too much cult about the boy, his character gets spoiled and I am very sad about this.

@@influencer8757 well, not constant HARD training, I was in figure skating lessons (1966) that were offered in our small town by a national level figure skater who had results like this tyke from us, even 8yo me! He has obviously a natural talent and an excellent trainer/teacher and that combo is dynamite in the best possible way. No intense long days to get these results.

I enjoyed watching his son skate, it reminded me of the figure skating lessons our small pulp mill town offered when they brought in a national level figure skater for a few years in around 1965-67. I remember seeing the older kids do the moves he did & I could do some of them also. Some I can still get my body to do😁 Well done Dad! Do question the sexualization aspect of the performance it the joy and love is so apparent that I can drop the social science part of me.
Great routine. Fun to watch. Parent and child sharing a passion. You can't make a child do something and be that good at something if they've don't want to. This is about a child naturally wanting to copy their parent, and I bet the whole idea came from just that in the training rink. Performed as a duet as they are on home soil. Great parenting you can see the connections between father and son.
