I decided to return to Madison county again to catch a 2906 before they're decommissioned. Interestingly, there was also a T-128 installed there too. I drove past this siren several times before, with an up-close visit back in February of this year, so I am assuming this was only installed in the last month or two. Madison county appears to still be in the process of their siren replacement, even though they already did growl tests of the already installed T-128s back in January.
I was lucky that it was a good day out, especially with the nice sun angle. I wanted to get closer to hear the chimes better, but I chickened out and went back around 50-100 ft. away (even though I always wear hearing protection when filming sirens).
Do I plan to film in Madison county again? Maybe, but I think I've already covered the older system right before the new one starts being used. If I can find a contact with the Madison county EMA, I'll try and figure out the first month of T-128 testing.

Sounds like an older 2906 with the kind of westminster chime it has.

I'm pretty sure they were carried over from the mods they replaced. Madison county is weird in how they've set up their sirens. For example, on EKU's campus, they installed the brand new ASC Claritys to replace the campus 2904s. However, instead of using the standard ASC electronic sounds, they just used a recording of a T-128. My guess is that they didn't want to confuse anyone with the campus and main county sirens since they're now T-128s.

Why is a voice system swapped for an analogue system?

I'm wondering the same thing, the system wasn't very old.

Yeah, I've heard it before. Also it kinda sounds like it's trying to send codes for a voice message, but they haven't had that in a test for a while now.

    L’autre est active ?

The Whelen, which is filmed in this video, is no longer active. The T-128 next to it is. I believe the Whelen has been taken down.
