They are a great lift, if you want a lift buy this one. Me and my friends moved the tie down loops forward, it keeps straps out of the way and holds bike to the wheel stop.
I used 3/4 plywood boards 10” wide the length of the lift on both sides with supports bolted to the main deck of the lift from underneath this gives you more foot space and you can also put quads and lawn tractors on lift
OK guys, a couple of points. Best practice is to push the bike on the lift. If you ride up, wear a helmet, it's a long way down to the pavement for your head, and devise some outriggers, wood or plate steel, you need more purchase for your feet. Also, for lift sliding think about bolting an appropriate piece of angle iron to the floor. Works well. I actually knocked a side off a piece of square tube too and place that over the angle iron and base cross member as well for "hold".
Bob Raschke thankyou for the feedback👍🏽 I’ll look into possibly bolting the lift to the floor I use my garage for my cars, so I definitely need it to be able to be removed quickly.
@@dynademos that's why I bolted a piece of angle iron to the floor, then I place the front crossmember of the lift against that when preparing to use the lift. Next time I use it I will send a pix.
