Why everybody making NYC apartment tours says the same thing " It's very rare to find an apartment with a dishwasher machine" but everybody actually HAVE a dishwasher machine in their videos...lol
Because all these lucky people are so proud of their dishwashers that they make a video tour and flood youtube lol.

Im in the process of getting a 223 sq studio in north hollywood and this video really gave me some great ideas. Great personality too btw glad to see ppl working with what they got and being proud of it as u should be.

250 square feet is literally my dorm room and there's not even a kitchen or bathroom in here. I'm extremely impressed with how spacious and cute it looks. Good job!

Her laughter sounded like happiness to me. For those of you who hated it, perhaps you are more used to someone crying or yelling. BTW, that is plenty room for one person if they are not stuck on material things.
i like it alot, if you wanted, you could put a tension rod on the wall by your bed to hang curtains between your bedroom and living room area ❤

I think that when it comes to apartments, or any home space, what matters more is not how MUCH room you have, but rather how you USE the space given. You apartment is a great example since you utilize everything pretty well and manage to create a stable place for one, or maybe even two people. (By the way, I love your place!)

I love the opened windows with the birds chirping.
But who really needs a dishwasher when there is only one person eating?? Maybe at most 2 or 3

This is such a cool space! Also, the layout of the apartment seems simple but very functional. You really got great (and great-looking) use out of it. Clean lines, but not "sterile", multifunctional and cosy - that's how it should be!
I literally have a 1 bedroom in Astoria (solo living); but I am a native New Yorker so for us we like to upgrade lol...my place is an old building with great city view but annoyingly expensive. Looking to move to New Jersey for that modern style but gotta have that 1 bedroom although I am 5'4" lol kudos to you for making it work ! Xx

BlondeAddiction Thanks so much! Fortunately this place is not too much more than I was paying when I lived in a 2 bedroom with a roommate, but you're right, overall NYC is not cheap!

Great job with the apartment! We live in a studio in BK as well, people outside of NYC just don't understand! If we can find the motivation to clean up we'll do a tour. Thanks for the inspiration!

Girl, you can find a bigger apartment with that price. But it depends on where you want to live. It's all about location location
+Kenny, Ayame Thompson is right. You just have to know where to look. I've applied to several one bedroom and studio apartments from $535-650 a month. (Born in Brooklyn and raised all over the 5 boroughs- yes I move a lot), true New Yorker. When I get approve for mine I'll be sure to make a video of it also and provide where I got it from.

i get scared a lot anticipating moving to nyc but this actually eased a lot of my anxiety- a place like this would be perfect for me and i hope i can find one similar!
$1300 a month for rent, 250 sq ft, expensive! Not worth it at all for me.

Sethcha Koy I have a studio in bronx ny for $885. plus it's bigger and I have a backyard in a nice area they like to overcharge hipsters cause they think they have money.

If your will to travel from the bronx. Its a 45 minute ride on the train. I reside in Morris Park. Very nice.

I recently moved to a studio in the Bronx. I've been watching many apt tours, and your apt is one of my faves. Your apt is a bit smaller than mine, but you have utilized the space amazingly. I love all the floating shelves. Great job

I got it from urban outfitters about a year ago, not sure if they still sell it. Though, I'll be moving in a month, so maybe I can sell it to you? Is that weird?

OMG! This is like my 10 years old dream apartment. I remember myself dreaming about sleeping in the kitchen so I can eat food at night, and not walking all the way from my bedroom to the kitchen. :D
