- Today i'm flying on one of the world's longest flights (an inaugural too!) and then.. another! I'll be in the sky over 24 hours in the world's best Business Class, the Qatar QSuites. I won't be doing it alone either, I'll have one of my buddies James Asquith with me as well as a new friend, Diego the dog! From airport to airport we're looking at over 31 hours today, and I'm sure we'll get into some adventures along the way.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one person consume so much caviar, medium-rare steak, and champagne in their life. Gotta get the full experience ever time though!

Thank you for this endearing video. I have to say, it was posted on the day my dad passed away because of coronavirus, if you can believe that. And, oddly, I traveled from Philadelphia to Florida two years prior with a handful of stuffed animals to temporarily live in Florida with my mom and aunt...my dad and his second wife living farther south in Florida. Kind of jogged a memory. I kept seeing 'ill' on your 'will' shirt and it brought a tear to my eye for my dad who was caught off guard after flying in November for Thanksgiving to visit with a stepfamily's family. He tested positive for a rapid test upon return. Still wonder what made my dad and his wife travel when, normally, at their age and condition, they would've headed the warnings. Anyway, long comment, but very much enjoyed this video. 💗💗

Great video - I used to travel once a month on Qatar business from Sydney but not for the last year! Thanks for reminding me of what I am missing! Good to find out about the Oryx hotel as have not done that

It’s the quick cut from James throwing his head into the pool for me, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard at a quick cut before!
My mom, my sister and I unfortunately missed our connection to Killimanjaro International due to a medical emergency landing in Mumbai. Qatar Airways booked us at Oryx Garden which is a new hotel at the airport and it is nice. I had a room to myself. 😁 Love the lounge at Doha too. I agree it is fantastic. We stayed there while waiting for our flight back home to Manila.

did the inaugural flight from Bristol to Cancun, first 787 out of Bristol, we got free lounge access, cupcakes and tequila, excellent! good footage chap
I never knew they operated 787’s out of Bristol airport. I thought it was only like EasyJet A320s and Ryanair 737s
@@OnTheRailwayOfficial yes mate, weekly to Cancun and also sporadically to Cape Verde...its heavy on the braking mind on the return leg but Bristol is deffo long enough for them..👍👍
I was in the Qsuite from DOH to São Paulo.. absolutely hands down the best J class product in existence.

She’s also incredibly annoying and would probably spend the whole flight ringing the attendant button, asking for things like individually packaged soaps and towels and cutlery because she likes pilfering things....

I get that they want to show off the cake, but does it really make sense to have it right there in front of the door while everyone brushes against it wearing their outer layers (how often do people wash their coats) with everything going on? It doesn't make sense. Even at a buffet they have a sneeze guard, lol. And the cake was pretty average looking anyway.
That likely isn't the real cake. They decorate a box or plastic item. In the galley is another cake that is already sliced up
That just looked luxurious! We normally get normal class flight seats bc we are a 5 family size but you could say 4! I imagine since there was another seat next to the normal seat but I imagine Diego was on the 2nd seat.

Another masterpiece. If only I had thought of buying a Diego to hide my champagne stash into Qatar! Doh! (Homer, Not Doha). And the food in the lounge and on the aircraft. Superb. If Qatar can do it why are BA and their ilk pretending that they can't? I think we know the answer.
I have recently discovered your videos and I am really enjoying them. They are informative and interesting. You are very watchable and give very good commentary and I feel you say it how it is. This is a two year old video but I've just discovered your channel and am binge watching your videos now. I don't know if you'll see this comment . But, I'm going to put it here anyway . I love your GIFs that you put in your videos! Keep posting! Its great to somewhat experiencing the First Class service. I was a flight attendant for Pan Am during their last years . Those were the days that people did not come in sweats . But, instead they dressed a little nicer. We did a seven course service on overseas or cross country trips and even economy received a drink service with a snack, hot meal service, coffee service, and another drink service. If the trips were overnight passengers received dinner and breakfast service. It is so different now and it makes me sad. Flying was an event and flight crews gave attentive and constant service.

I hate to say but I think you not only got the good seat for takeoff video. But the other perks usually reserved for first class. I’m sure they didn’t deprive first class of anything they wonted. But they definitely gave you the overflow to increase the chances of a positive review. I know you will give the review the service dictates!!! But I do think they were trying to butter the bread on both sides. So to speak.
I’m not sure weather to find the Diego thing charming or deeply alarming. That being said 11/10 video

Qatar is a beautiful airline don’t get me wrong but I think most of this was done for PR as they knew you are a popular CZcamsr. I know in order to film on Qatar you need to get approval before you can film and I think once they realized you can produce revenue for the brand, they make sure to make this an amazing flight. It feels like a commercial, I would like a regular version but it’s too hard to film openly on some airlines

I too have travel companions that I've taken on my four trips to the UK/States...mind you, mine are a tad bit smaller, but not tiny either...a ringtail possum (which I'd found/bought on the ferry between Melbourne to Devonport 16 years ago) named Nugget and a bear called Henry the hiker (was mums bear) they ALWAYS manage to pick up hitchhikers along the way though, some very interesting hanger-ons..Shaun the Sheep, found in Oxfam Op shop in Bristol..and a Miss King (or is that Queen) Kong from the Empire state building..
