Just turn off putt preview so you aren't tempted to use it.
Not sure if you’ll see this, but use the left knob to put spin, the one you’ve been using changes loft on the shot

If you’re in the rough or sand, your maximum distance is reduced so you need to club up or overpower the shot to get anywhere near where you’re aiming

Highly suggest you make use of the draw/fade, it's a huge tool you seem to not use. I haven't played this one yet but if it's like 21 it's a big tool. Good example at 1:53, the 1st hole with that not so pretty straight approach, give some left to right action to give a much easier approach to the hole with the roll up and take the bunker out of play

Your “backspin” is just lofting the club, you adjust the backspin using the left stick instead of the right in the shotshape interface
Great work on this PGA Tour 2k23 series Trev 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I an’t a huge fan of golf but this gameplay is top notch.
I live in Belguim and I know that it's weird becaus I'm only 18 but I really want to see a PGA tournament live like IRL and I also want the game for PS4 but then I am gonna need to work for it becaus I'm thinking of starting with golf because of you and your videos.

Trev, @9:37 you weren't putting backspin on the ball. The right stick is increasing or decreasing loft on the club. Backspin or forward spin is the left stick. Backspin is down...
If the winds blowing left to right, and you pull the shot left…don’t aim further right 🤷🏻♂️wind will hold it up go at the pin

One more comment: the announcer saying that he wouldn't have been able to trust himself with social media, wtf is he talking about? Like is he implying he'd be posting nudes of himself all day or harassing minorities or something?? What a weirdly vague comment.

I thought you play every game that comes out for something different besides who wouldn’t want to pass up driving a big truck even though it is in a game.
The player graphics and swing physics are still so bad lol. Gonna buy it anyways to keep playing the user-made courses

Has anyone experienced a timing issue all of the sudden. Where I played one match flawless when I press the X button it stops when X is pressed during my swings. Then the next match it is totally delayed. Anyone else????

It's called a draw when it goes left and a fade when it goes right
