7:40 "Doozy" is short for the car brand Duesenberg, as used in the expression "that was a Doozy."
The expression means something along the lines of "wow, that was superlative." Did you throw a bad shot? Well, if it was particularly bad...it was a Doozy. Did you see that wedding cake with 30 tiers? Yeah that was a Doozy!
This is because Duesenberg cars of the 1920s and 1930s were the ultimate in luxury, performance, and price...like the Bugatti Veyrons of their day, in a way (back then, 120 mph in a sedan was bonkers).
Someone has probably already answered this, but, being a car enthusiast, when I heard someone ask the question I just couldn't resist...I still remember one of my teachers telling us this explanation when I was quite young!

I really appreciated Jerm's coaching on self talk at 23:26. I mean, I'm still going to tell myself I'm garbage on 2 out of every 3 throws, but I will hopefully also remember to be more specific about WHY I am garbage and what I can do to be slightly less garbage next time.

From what I can find the association between "cap" or "capping" to lying started as slang for bragging in the early 1900's, in the sense of telling tall tales to outdo or top the other guy. In this context, top and cap are equivalent, and "no cap" just means no lie or no exaggeration. Re-popularized by a rap song in 2017 called "No cap", meaning both no lie, and no limits.
And while we're at it.. doozy : something outstanding or unique of its kind.

Na its a reverence to gold teeth. Caps are not a true replacement. They are temporary and can be easily removed. As compared to actual gold teeth that are permanent. No caps therefore means "for real" or that your shit is authentic.
I was under the impression that "cap" was actually "kap" and a reference to the kappa emote on Twitch. It's common to use the kappa emote to denote sarcasm or that the thing you just said was the opposite of the truth. So if someone says "no kappa" after something, it means it's actually true as stated even if it sounds false. It just got shortened to "no kap" after a while.
