- Seven different Class 37's, a triple on 0Z38 Crewe Gresty Bridge-Derby RTC, and a quadrouple on 0Z37 the opposite way! A signal check for each meant the driver could open the taps up and thrash away, and as usual those DRS drivers don't disappoint :-)
0Z38 is formed of 37229 'Jonty Jarvis' leading a mint 37607 and weathered 37259, while 0Z38 is formed of 37688 'Kingmoor TMD' leading 37419, 37609, and 37608, running an hour late and into the low setting sun, but still quite a sight and sound!
All this was filmed on Friday 7th September 2012 during a visit to North Staffs Jct - that movie to follow will feature three different Class 60's, 47727, 56094, the NMT, and a variety of Class 66 workings - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Ahh the sound, the 'Music', just awesome machines, brilliant. 👍😎
Class 37 still looking and sounding the business!
Il never forget the sound of 37's nice one mate
Great Video Darren! some lovely workings
Excellent. Really would like to visit here soon.
OMG, just look at the clag, looks like Alycidons just been through, great bit of Growling too, bet your pleased with this one Daz. Thumb up.
'Fantastic Thrash' great video.
Thanks Michael. Saw loads more(60's, 56, 47, NMT, and more)which hopefully will follow in a later movie - but my laptop has crashed and i can't access any of my movies or photos :-(
Awesome sounds !!
Some lovely Tractor Thrash and Growl Darren, worth the wait for 0z37!! Will have to make the effort to get up here at some point, looks great.
Great video and a nice clag show too!
Thank you very much.
Thank you.
Worth the wait indeed. Definately needs to go on your places to visit list.
Great catch, 7 tractors - niccceee.
Thanks. I'd highly recommend a trip Chris - try and pick a day like this though!
Thanks. The setting sun certainly helped to pick the clag out!
Glorious sight! Good catch!
wow nice video lad. 10/10
Thanks. Plenty of thrash even with them not all being in multi.
That sounded fantastic.!
Was a nice bonus and a great way to finish off the day there :-)
I'd expect nothing else from DRS Class 37's with their drivers :-)
Thanks - thrash masters hopefully :-)
Always get a nice sound from a 'Growler' :-)
That's a pretty good description i'd say :-)
Ah, wasn't thinking of that. I know DBS drivers crew the test trains, but assumed DRS drivers did the light engine moves. Bet the DBS drivers like a classic loco like a 37 though - can't thrash a 66 like this!
Second only to a Deltic i'd say :-)
U said triple thrash and it was the first 3 37s but there was only one 37 working the other 2 were dead they wernt running and the same with the 4, only one working so really it was only double sorry
That wasn't double thrash either on your logic, it would've been two lots of single thrash. I think you're missing the point as neither the movie title or description says "Tractors" or "Multi Thrash" - the Triple & Quadrouple refer to the number of locos in each consist and the thrash to the noise each Class 37 was making.
