People easily forget the great writing in this scene. The reason why Boruto activating his karma was shown in a close up ks because we know that he’s scared of that power and wouldn‘t use it because he fears it. But if it‘s to protect Kawaki,his brother, and to defeat Code he‘ll gladly use it and take that risk.
I didn't think of this when I first saw the episode. Good observation my man. When this chapter first came out months ago I didn't think much but Boruto, willing to activate his karma even though he doesn't want to shows how much he cares.
They picking the best time to go on break because the cliffhanger they about to leave us on is gonna be crazy, setting up Part 2 and the tonal shift perfectly

If you look at Boruto from the first episode until now it's like a whole different character. People are lying to themselves when they say he didn't change or they just don't watch the show. Yet idiots are so happy that the show is taking a 2 month break that they spread lies as if it's actually getting cancelled.
Just say that y'all never really gave Boruto a chance because you either wanted more Naruto or wanted the franchise to end after Shippuden.
It's that simple.
Naruto had fillers too. And it always showed up whenever something interesting happened in the story and it took months to get back to the main story. It happened a lot during the War arc so it's not just Boruto that had fillers. After Naruto and Sasuke fought in Part 1 there were seasons worth of fillers before the show ended and went into Shippuden.
This is why Boruto and Kawaki are amazing characters

Now that part 1 is about to end, the show had so many inconsistency with animation and story but I kept watching and enjoying it nonetheless and it had so many great moments so I hope they were using those moments just as testing for the main work which is part 2 and comes up with something that gives us the feeling we had 20 years ago when our beloved series started

The voice acting is really well done in this clip. You can feel the tension building up between Boruto and Kawaki until Boruto punches him. You can hear the surprise and hurt in Kawaki's voice.
I never understood Boruto haters like all they care about is the fights, not the story but praise the other anime for bare minimum and then go around saying dumb shi like only 2 good eps and whatnot like Boruto animators can't make mistake,big anime like op Naruto also had bad animation at some point doesn't mean they're bad these new anime watchers are..smh🤷🏻♂️
Because Boruto is an unnecessary show that doesn't need to exist. The story was wrapped up nicely with shippuden but now they just want to milk the franchise dry. And to be honest, Naruto (and later on shippuden) were just way better shows. And also the power scaling in Boruto makes no sense now. Looking back the og villains in Naruto feel kinda tame in comparison, which is insulting. Boruto is nothing more than a fanfic to me

But unfortunately, the Sasuke's character development goes into a path of redemption, so i feel maybe saving the village and falling like a hero in the shadows, like his brother and restore the clan symbolically could be a great destiny for him
It would be really cool if Naruto and Hinata are transported to another dimension, maybe to another timeline in the past where the Fourth or Second was Hokage or something and they have to help the village. But we'll probably never see them again, unless it's flashbacks or the characters remembering them.

They should have made this into a seasonal show than weekly. Do the old 25-30 eps for 1 season with 10 of it as fillers. Code arc was what? 1-2 years ago? Feels so fast then you realized it's 1 month per issue. The hiatus is really needed because they caught up so quick! I still remember the times when Naruto was first sealed and that caused a panic when it was released and now it's close to a year being adapted.
I can't believe Boruto punches his older brother to beat him back to his senses, I just love how he wants to protect him. I admire Kawaki's desire to protect Naruto and Konoha, this boy doesn't even care about his own life. These episodes keep getting better and better. Love it :)
