I retired and can no longer have guinea pigs. My eyesight would not allow me to properly take care of them. I have “internet adopted” your herd. I love them so much. These two are just so cute and sweet with the curly whiskers. 🥰❤️

Seeing the baby I just want to sing "bad hair day, bad hair day, even after 3 cans of hair spray. It won't lay when I can't make it stay."
I sympathize with that song. My hair looks like I got donated scalp sections from three different people. The back of my head is tight strawberry-blonde curls that relax into ringlets, and the crown is completely straight rusty medium-auburn. But the front, which I wish I could wear as bangs but cannot, is just like baby guinea pig's head tuft -- sandy frizz that stands straight up unless I brush it down and fasten it in place. These days I just wear a winter cap over it and let the ringlets do as they please out the back. Such a relief to think that guinea pigs probably don't care about a bad hair day, er, bad hair LIFE.

This has been an amazing introduction. Maybe it is just the random chance of integrating new calm members into an established calm herd? Mom looks like a "Teddy Bear" to me and the baby seems to exude, "Joy". What ever their names turn out to be, I will continue to enjoy the further adventures of the Little Adventures herd.♥
Mommy & Baby are totally beautiful.....I think Creamsicle for the momma due to her face color & Poppy for the baby became how much the baby popcorned.
Last video I suggested Daisy in honor of Gatsby and to keep the The Great Gatsby theme going. I also suggested Silvie in honor of Sylvester and because of her silver color. They seem like they'll become tame really fast, especially baby!

What a wonderful herd! Namegiving is always a process, and can be a challenge. I've had guinea pigs for over 25 years, and they were named Okkie, Salto (males), Ansje, Rietje, Doeshka, Bullit (daughter of Doeshka), Nyoko, Silke, Sady and Fransje (females). Last two are now here with me. Good luck!
